According to US author and journalist Christopher Caldwell, most of the immigrants who come to Europe are Muslims. So to accommodate Islam, Europe may change its basic values, thinks Caldwell.

“…Europe today lacks large, metaphysical ideals, self-confidence and a vision for the future. When an insecure, malleable, relativistic culture meets a culture that is anchored, confident and strengthened by common doctrines, it is generally the former that changes to suit the latter." says Caldwell.
