When thought about sincerely, it will be seen that the HDP is a virtual party. It is not a settled political party with an actual base of voters. It is merely a party pulling in votes with the threat of the PKK, standing afoot with the threat of the PKK. Without the threat of the PKK, there would be no party such as the HDP.

We cannot search for all those acts that are lawful in the Qur'an. Only the unlawful acts can be searched for in the Qur'an. That is because the number of unlawful acts is very few. When there is a proof in the Qur'an for something being unlawful, there is nothing further to discuss . Crying for a martyr is not compatible with an Islamic upbringing. Our Prophet (saas) has prohibited it. Crying, mourning is found in all the pagan customs of the ancient Sumerians, the Akkadians, the Hittites, ancient Egypt, ancient Greece. They lament, they cry. But in Islam being a veteran, being a martyr is an honor.

There is a spiritual void. We need to educate our people. Or else you build bridges and they simply lay hold of them and they become the bridges of the PKK. They go and name it the 'Stalin Bridge'. They change the name 'Ataturk' to 'Lenin' on every building. You make a great effort to build them and they simply confiscate them. That is why spirituality comes first; faith comes first.

There is a terrifying impassiveness in some young girls and young men. They are all about their apparel, their fun, their pleasure and razzle-dazzle. They just concentrate on going to a good school, having a good business, getting on the gravy train, getting married, getting ahead of their friends. Their mind is solely occupied with these. On the other hand, our homeland is in danger, our flag is in danger, our religion is in danger and these people do not even see the danger. They simply say 'So long as it is not at my door'. Those girls in the PKK are lying on the rocks in the mountains for their void, superstitious causes. Some of our young girls are acting as if they are 'Snow White'. They only are interested in getting married, in being rich. They just concentrate on finding a suitable groom for themselves. Have a look at the ideological determination of the PKK and then at the impassiveness and the worldly ambitions of some of our people. That is not the way to go. There is a need for the spirit of a man of cause, a national conscious.

Those soldiers are blessed with the rank of martyrdom and you feel yourself distressed and pained, how is that possible? What does being a soldier mean? It means learning the art of dying and killing for the good pleasure of God, for our homeland. God is the One Who gives life and He is the One Who makes them become martyrs. What more do you ask for? Martyrdom is the highest rank for a soldier.

The body of the martyr should be shown all around the city. The funerals of martyrs are important. The invocations saying "Allahu Akbar" should resound in the city. At least a million people should gather. Then the national conscious would spurred. The whole country would benefit from the spirituality of the martyr.

“Shia” means follower. They are the Shias of Hazrat Ali (ra), they are his followers and at the same time all Shias are the Shias of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), followers of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh).
