Crazy

It was narrated from our Prophet (pbuh): "Remember the name of God so much that people will call you mad." (Ahmad ibn Hanbel, 3/68; Hâkim, 1/499)

Being crazily in love with God is a great honor for a believer.

Throughout history, aspersions of insanity have been cast on all the prophets and all Muslims striving on the path of God.

A believer will be proud to be an ‘insane lover of God’. All prophets, saints, righteous people throughout history were called ‘insane’.

All the prophets were slandered and they were called “insane”, yet for a believer, it is an honor to be called insane.

Lying is a form of insanity and it is quite widespread among the ignorant, especially among crass people, with the aim of entertaining others and drawing attention to themselves. Because it is a form of insanity and it humiliates people, no one should ever come near it. It is vileness to lie to draw attention or to act as a know-it-all and a show off.
