One says, "My religion is detached from my social life." That is the point you lose. As a matter of fact, life is a whole. Islam is a whole. Islam envelops all stages of life and everything else. You would ruin yourself if you do so.

God demands piety in the real sense. Or else it is not like thinking that there is a social life and there is religion lived right on the edge; there is no such thing. How could there be something to call a social life? Religion rules every aspect of life. Religion rules everything in a Muslim's life. What does a social life means? You can go anywhere on Earth and only the good pleasure of God prevails in everything you do.

The Qur'an is pure revelation. The Qur'an does not conflict with science, logic or the social life.
