A report in the 27 September, 2008, edition of Süddeutsche Zeitung, one of Germany’s largest dailies with 1.1 million readers, contained the following information about Adnan Oktar’s activities: 
“Adnan Oktar very much enjoys wearing a suit of white silk, and believes that the End Times are close at hand. He says ‘there are subjects that have not previously been expounded,’ for which reason he has written more than 200 books under the pen-name Harun Yahya. His message is this: ‘If evolution had happened, it would be in the Qur’an.

’Oktar thinks that Darwinism is the source of evil. He also thinks that Darwinism is to blame for the emergence of communism, Freemasonry and terrorism. The Turkish Oktar regards himself as the leader of Muslim Creationists and says, ‘Allah created us, not evolution.’

... Before Dawkins wrote about Oktar’s Atlas of Creation on his web site, Oktar had sent the book out to schools and journalists in Europe.”
