Holy Birth Program to Celebrate the Birth of the Prophet Muhammad (saas) was organized by Grand Mufti of Ukraine in Kiev and received a broad audience. It started with the Qur’an reading and then a group of Turkish people living in Germany hymned both in Turkish and in Arabic. The Irsad School students recited the life of Prophet Muhammad (saas) in 8 different langu  languages. An elderly Tatar lady also shared the difficulties they went through in living by religious moral values in the time of Soviet Union.

Yuriy Reshetnikov, chairman of the Ukrainian State Committee on Nationalities and Religions, read a message of Ukrainian Prime Minister, Yulia Tymoshenko, to all Muslims during the program. In his message, Prime Minister Tymoshenko celebrated all Muslims in respect of Holy Birth of Prophet Muhammad (saas) and expressed his wishes, saying: “I wish health, peace and happiness to you and your family. May Allah bless you of your good.”
