Mr. Adnan Oktar talked about the 49 consulate employees taken by ISIS as hostages, and said that ISIS can be convinced to release them by talking about  Islamic law, according to their beliefs, and it can be pointed out to them that the Sunnis have every right to live, and Turkey should guarantees that we will not be a threat risk to them.

After the  negotiations with our government, ISIS released the 49 consulate employee  hostages.

ADNAN OKTAR: Actually they can convince them by talking about  Islamic law. Also for the hostages. Because according to their ideology, the hostages should be released at the moment because they give the Sunni the right to live, to the Sunni. I think that a persuasion model with a relation to that topic would be good. If Turkey guarantees that we will not be a threat risk to them -I think they are also waiting for that- there won’t be any problems. They can say that, ‘We can make an intellectual struggle against you, but not an armed struggle’. They write a letter to them, to their minds. There may be a mistake in the persuation model or on the expression tecnique. I think it is easy to convince them.

ADNAN OKTAR: According to their belief, according to the Ahl al-Sunnah, killing a Sunni Muslim, or an Alawite  or a Şhiite, is  murder. Muslims don’t do that because they think that they are in a jihad, they believe that they are mujahids. He says, ‘I am a good Muslim’. A Sunni scholar to say the opposite would be very rare. And the second thing is, this problem can not be solved by bloodshed or guns. This problem can not be solved by hanging or cutting people up. The solution is very easy; the Islamic world will unite, they will take away the fraudulent, the dishonest scholars, you will make the real Muslims, the people of love, the people of brotherhood the leaders. You will empower them, and this will be over. There won’t be any solution, other than this.

ISIS released the Turkish  consulate employees who were taken as hostages for 101 days in Mosul.  ISIS announced that they released the hostages after they agreed on the condition that Turkey will not join the international coalition.
