In his conversation programs on A9 TV, Mr. Oktar has warned about the fact that Europeans won’t accept the asylum-seekers coming through the Mediterranean and noted that safety zones must be established for refugees and that failure to do so  would be murder.

The EU High Commissioner for Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini has made a statement where he noted that they would not send away any refugee rescued at sea.

PRESENTER: Today, the European Parliament came together in an urgent meeting about the refugee deaths at the Mediterranean. Some members said, “We should not take a decision to rescue them as it would cause more refugees to come.” Lovelessness is all around us at the moment.

ADNAN OKTAR: Let’s establish a living space for them. It is not necessary they come to Italy. We can establish some space in their own country as well; I mean safety zones. They are afraid of being crushed and destroyed in war. They are looking for a place where they will be protected.

PRESENTER: Mr. Adnan, today a new bill was passed and announced in England. Previously, the British Royal Air Force used to go and rescue refugees who wanted to go to Europe via crossing the Mediterranean by ship, but they noted that they will not go due to this new bill. They say that this will act as a disincentive. They said, “Because we rescued them before, they just keep coming.”

ADNAN OKTAR: This is very alarming. Think about it: there are ambulances always stationed at hospitals and the authorities phone the hospital saying, “If someone says that he is injured or sick, don’t go there. They can do whatever they want at home.” This is murder. We will choose not to save a human life when we can? This decision is a decision of murder. Those who say this take the decision to kill a man.

The EU High Commissioner for Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini stated that they will strengthen the effect of both rescue missions and struggle against smuggling organizations and noted, “As the EU, we will not send away any refugees or asylum seekers rescued at sea out of their own accord.”
