Explaining the falsity of their ideology, of their philosophy is the most influential method. You would thus dispirit and demoralize them completely, I mean both their muscle power and their mental power would thus be lost and they would be incapacitated.

The system of the Mahdi is not a claim but a demonstration. Islam prevails in the world and an individual takes the lead of the Islamic world. We can then think that he is the Mahdi (pbuh), God knows the truth and that is all (we can do).  We cannot enunciate it either, we can only say, "God knows the truth, he might be the one."

When they talk about religion they assume that it is all about memorizing the verses, knowing the Qur'an by heart and reciting the verses with tajwid, being careful about idgham (merging). Actually the essence and the wisdom in the Qur'an is what is important. I mean putting the meaning in the Qur'an into practice is important, not reciting the Qur'an by being careful with idgham and qalqalah (adding a slight bounce or reduced vowel sound). Arabs can do that effortlessly in the best manner, but there are also a lot of them who do not put those verses into life, into practice.

Our Prophet (saas) did not call people to himself, but to the Qur'an. None of the prophets called people to themselves but rather, to the Books of God. For instance, the Prophet Moses (pbuh) called to the Torah, the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) called to the Gospel. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will be calling people to the Qur'an as well.

Wisdom is a beauty God likes. Some people talk plenty but lack wisdom. Wisdom has nothing to do with a lot of knowledge and a lot of verbalism. One might be a walking library but lack that profundity and fail to perceive the wisdom behind that knowledge. Such people only concentrate on the arrogance and snobbery knowledge could bring them. Actually knowledge can only be used for wisdom.

Neither the Last Day nor death would have any aspect that would make Muslims uneasy. It would offend God if Muslims think that they would be persecuted or suffer somehow. That is because God says, "Trust Me, if you are good no harm would ever touch you." Muslims should always think good and well about God.

The whole issue is in submitting to God wholeheartedly and in loving God. Once you attain that, you would progress steadily on the right path. You might want to go faster, but God would not let you speed up. The system of the Mahdi is a system that progresses slowly. The followers of the Mahdi blossom out slowly as well. No matter how much they want it, no matter what they do, God makes them fill in that preordained time.

Some people assume that Islam can only prevail with huge expenses, great activities, organized movements, by doing things covertly, etc. Look at the Qur'an and you'll see that Islamic values have always prevailed metaphysically. The whole issue is in attaining sincerity.

One only serves the system of the Mahdi and cannot claim to be the Mahdi. Look carefully into the course of history and you will see that they all ended up defeated. But God has always opened the way for all those who stepped forth claiming to be in the service of the system of the Mahdi and made them all elated.
