There is an unpublished letter of Bediuzzaman Said Nursi. In that letter he writes, “Religious Christians overtake politics.” They overtake world politics. And he says, “Mahdi (pbuh) overtakes the mission of preaching the word.”

His Highness Bediuzzaman Said Nursi and Ataturk have laid the ground for modern Islam together. No matter how Bediuzzaman appeared to be against Ataturk, in principle, they were intellectual allies in their modern understanding of Islam. Ataturk liked Bediuzzaman a lot.

The Treatise of Light consists of magnificent books. The Treatise of Light should certainly be read everyday. It should be kept handy. The undistorted, true passages of the Torah and the Gospel should also be benefited from.

Reaching the Treatise of Light somehow would expand the horizons of a person; it opens up one's world. That is why it would be very beneficial for every one of our brothers and sisters to have at least a piece of Treatise of Light at their homes. That is because the language used in the Treatise of Light is very sincere; it is the language of Islam.

Bediuzzaman advanced religion, the truth of religion in Turkey and Turkey cleaned itself of radicalism. The beauty of today's Turkey belongs to these two individuals; first to Ataturk and second to Bediuzzaman. As a result of hidden knowledge, these two appear to be opposing each other. Not everyone can understand this. Their appearing as opposed to one another is the way of the hidden knowledge.

Russia should open the doors to the students of Treatise of Light. Anything to the contrary would bring about inauspiciousness. A country closing doors to the students of the Treatise of Light cannot remain standing. Such a country would be devastated with that inauspiciousness.

Our PM is using a very well-intentioned language. He is employing a Muslim way of speaking and he enjoys the richness it brings about. He is enjoying the richness of the Treatise of Light right now; this is the richness of the Bediuzzaman. That is why he had cleared everything up and why he is at ease. That is very important insha'Allah.

Bediuzzaman says; “I would have come to Istanbul even if I were in Mecca or Medina.” He says; “Turkey is the center of the Islamic Union.” Bediuzzaman has always implemented a policy based on Istanbul.

The Bediuzzaman says; "the East will be strengthened only with religion." No country has ever gained power through philosophy. That has always been attained with religion. The same is valid with Christians as well; in Europe they have always gained strength with religion. Also the Jews; they have always gained strength with religion. The only reason for the strength of Jews in this world is the Torah.

As people casted slanders on Bediuzzaman, God gave him health and welfare. Bediuzzaman has never been to a hospital or a doctor in his life. He was very healthy.

Many slanders are casted upon people working on the Way of God. Bediuzzaman was slandered. There are 90 different slanders and curses that have been responded to Treatise of Light. 90 slanders mean 90 thousand good deeds in the Hereafter insha'Allah.

Islamic Union and the system of the Mahdi is the essence of the Treatise of Light.

I do love Bediuzzaman Said Nursi and I am proud of that. I do love Sheikh Nazım Al-Qubrusi. I do love the Menzil community. I do love Süleyman Hilmi Tunahan. I do love His Highness Abdulbaki Erol. I do love all Muslims. I do not adopt the haughty attitude of some so-called intellectuals. I always express my love openly everywhere. Timid, cowardly, insincere attitudes always bring about disasters, inauspiciousness and nothing else.

The Süleymanlı community is carrying out auspicious efforts. There is no need to be disturbed of their activities.

99 percent of Turkey is on the reasonable path Ataturk shown. This is how it had been ever since the Ottomans; Turks have never embraced radicalism.

Our hunger and thirst is for religion. Religion means peace, it means beauty. We live for friendship, brotherhood, goodness and love.

Other than the system of the Mahdi, there is no intellectual system that could defeat an ideology like that of ISIS. They should show us if there is.

Turkey should take all sorts of military, politic, scientific and intellectual precautions and conduct all such studies thinking that "The PKK would certainly attack, they would certainly revolt!"

They have the intention of dividing the world into two poles: Muslims and anti-Muslims. And they are thinking of a horrible war. That is what they call Armageddon. The system of the Mahdi will resolve that scourge.

Islam is an amazingly beautiful system. If the youth could learn about it properly, there would be not one person left in Turkey that wouldn't embrace Islam. Yet they fail to understand; they imagine that hanging people, chopping up them is acceptable in religion, that their freedoms will be seized, that they will not have fun, that there will be no place for music and art in their lives. Actually these are all lawful blessings. Religion is being wrongfully explained. There is no such system. The system of the idolaters brought all those in. There is no such system in Islam.

No one should be using the language of conflict. The human soul is inclined both towards anger and towards love; the human soul is inclined both towards laughing and towards crying. Laughing should preferred every single time. Love should be preferred instead of hatred every single time.

If selfishness, a lack of love or being invested only in self-interest engulf a society, the notion of brotherhood would seem odd for them. They would say; "What brotherhood are you talking about? I am rich and I want to be away from you all. I do not like poverty and the poor!"

If you approach the one you love with faith and with the Qur'an; if you base your love on the love of God; if you approach that one with the affection God gave; if you see him/her as a manifestation of God, Almighty God would not take that manifestation away from you.

If you idolize the one you love, if you ascribe them as a partner to God - may God forbid-, if you assume that the one you love has an independent existence, God would take that person away from you. But if you see your loved one as a manifestation of God, God would not take away that manifestation from you. Separation is a punishment for idolizing the loved one.

Asia might have some beautiful aspects but it also has many dark aspects. The powers that prevail in Asia are generally like the mafia. We belong to Europe, to European civilization. We should not be drowned in radicalism, in fanaticism, in the darkness of Asia.
