Bravery is a lofty characteristic and exists only for humans. This is why they become martyrs or veterans eventually. But there is no such characteristic in angels. Nothing happens to angels when there is a war. There is no such thing for them to be patient. That is why God created humans superior to angels if they are God-fearing and if they have good morality. People might manage to surpass angels many times over.

Mourning is a custom of idolatry, a custom that was in practice in ancient Sumeria, Mesopotamia, the Hittites, in ancient Greek, in ancient Egypt. In numerous hadiths, our prophet (saas) has prohibited mourning. It is against the Qur'an. It is rebellion –may God forbid- to the blessings of God.
