Education based on memorization is not beneficial. Education should be based on general knowledge.

The basis of education should be love and fear of God. Coupled with general knowledge, it will bring tremendous improvement.

If TV channels air programs to increase general knowledge, it would help the society immensely. However, it is crucial to support culture and education with faith in God.

The education system should be designed to teach people general culture that they can put to use in their daily lives.

The education given in schools should be founded on general knowledge. Taking children’s individual talents into consideration would be advantageous.

Children should be educated in a fun, conversational manner. Children should understand why it is important that they receive education.

Having taste, appreciating quality, having an artistic soul is a privilege and can be gained through culture and etiquette training.

Once children grasp the beautiful aspects of being a high-quality person, they will naturally take pleasure from education.

Education alone cannot help a person; it is important to have good judgment, insight, wisdom and ability to think deeply.

Children must be taught the importance of general culture, being clean, love, compassion and quality. The curriculums must be arranged accordingly.

When young people graduate from school, they must know about the beliefs, cultures and lifestyles of all religions and ideologies as a part of the basic general knowledge about the world one should have.

Knowing about all religions is the essence of culture. A person must know about the faiths of his own region and his neighbors.

Youth should be taught about Islam, Christianity and Judaism comprehensively as a part of general culture. Religion is the main philosophy ruling the world we are living in.

Christianity, Judaism, and Islam should be taught in religion courses. Shiism, Alevism, Bektashism should all be taught. This is [part of] general culture.

It is very difficult for a highly cultured person to become a communist. Communists should be approached gently and told about the truth with ample evidence.

Ignorance brings about communism. Ignorance brings about fascism. Ignorance brings about wild capitalism. A cultured, well-informed person would not get into those tracks. That is because once one sees information, he would be seeing Allah’s artistry. Once one sees the artistry of Allah, he would fall in love with Allah. One who falls in love with Allah would fear Allah and feel a profound love. Such a person would abide by the Qur’an. He would thus become the most perfect, best person on earth, insha’Allah.

An enlightened Turkey means Turkey that is closed to communism-fascism. How could an enlightened person believe in Darwinism? How could an enlightened person become a communist?

With a cultured society everything will be solved. The system of the antichrist (dajjal) strikes from the ignorants anyway. When you have culture, you then become aware of the structure of protein for instance, you become aware of paleontology, you become aware of everytihng; they will then not be able to deal with you.

Religious knowledge is a general culture. Even an irreligious person should know religions and ideologies. He should know Islam, he should know Christianity, he should know Judaism, he should know communism, fascism as well.

A free youth having a broad knowledge of culture, with the faculty of judgment, broad horizons, and free will was the goal of Ataturk. This is our goal as well, insha’Allah.

For a lover of God, love for God is eternal. A believer’s love will never be a source of pain. For them, there is no such thing as heartache. Some people idolize their beloved ones. When that happens, God punishes that person by turning that idol into a source of trouble.

A noble person wouldn't get spoiled when they are praised. But some people are erratic and can get unstable when they are praised. Getting spoiled and acting out of control when praised is a form of mental disease; it is a character flaw. A loving person that loves God, that fears God, on the other hand, is always reliable and levelheaded. That person would never get spoiled when praised.

A beautiful character will make a person physically more beautiful, too. For example, a kind, smart woman is naturally very attractive.

The education system should not offer only a technical education . Its main purpose should be instilling love and compassion in hearts.

In most shopping malls [in the Muslim world], mosques are in the basements; they are small and not very well-kept. On the contrary, they should be spacious and very clean.
