People surprisingly live distant to God. A person of normal level of conscience cannot stay indifferent to the oppression existent in today’s world.

When people drift away from God, they develop a selfish character that aims to survive only. God creates life for us to serve Him.

The fact that the majority of the Islamic world is living in idolatry causes scourges on them, that is, Muslims’ fighting with each other. This is a spiritual disaster on them.

God would not be pleased if you forget that He creates all things. God gives pain and He grants recovery; this should not be forgotten. One should not detach his connection with God for reasons such as tiredness or even at moment of death. We should remember God ceaselessly. When we feel that we are falling into idolatry, we should supplicate to God and take refuge in Him. Our detachment from God would not be pleasing to God. God grants us all the blessings. We will show our love for God by remembering Him all the time. God wants persistent remembrance of Him. Just as one is not pleased when a loved one leaves, God is not pleased with our distancing from Him.

God creates everything in great detail. One has to ask everything from God. God wants us to pray and supplicate to Him, and asks us to draw near to Him and be in affectionate communion with Him. "Remember Me – I will remember you. Give thanks to Me and do not be ungrateful." (Surat al-Baqara, 152)

Every time a hypocrite makes things difficult for a Muslim, he finds he has been drawn a bit closer to hell. And troubles in this world also begin plaguing him even more.

The meaning of the word ‘Qaht’ is scourge, poverty and scarcity. Qahtani is one of those individuals that will appear before the Mahdi and shed blood.

God gives abundance and relief onto those who strive on His Path and casts troubles and problems on those with ill-will, as you can see. God opens the way for those striving on the good path. That is a miracle. God eases the way for those who want to advance on His path.

Almighty God gives blessings in abundance but the lack of thanking Him for those blessings is really irritating. You are invited to a palace, there are amazing foods, desserts, yet you simply eat them and leave yelling and kicking the door with your foot on your way out. Neither a thank you, nor any admiration; that would of course draw scourges upon you.

Love of God, closeness to God drives away scourges. Living by Islam meticulously, heeding the lawful and unlawful acts defined in the Qur'an is what drives away scourges.

People keep asking why do troubles find them? If you feel thankful, troubles would not follow you. But if you fail to do that, you would be deserving of those troubles. Muslims are of course tried, but would not be plagued.

Eat, drink and travel; anyone can do that. There will be hardships, there will be illnesses, there will be difficulties, there will be troubles and scourges and you will love God deeply just the same against all odds. That is what Almighty God loves the most.

Troubles and afflictions only sharpen and strengthen people. This is the way God disciplines. Or else a great portion of people would remain heedless.

Illnesses are gifts because they help people get closer to God.

How does one pray when he is harmed somehow? Perfectly. How is one's connection with God? Perfect. How is his respect? Perfect. But he has been harmed with troubles; he is not motivated without those troubles. Why are you waiting for those troubles to hit you? One should constantly be in the state he is when troubles hit him.

People resisted every Messenger sent by God. What draws God's wrath is that all the Messengers are very honest, sincere and righteous. And that those people fiercely stand aloof from them, even though they are well aware of the fact that they are mistaken and are on the wrong path and that the Messengers of God are honest, sincere and veracious. In that case, what they do deserves troubles so God plagues them.

The believers are always aware that they are with God. A person, who is always with God, will be the most powerful person in the world.

One acts impertinently against our Prophet (saas) and God heaps troubles upon him. He struggles against religion and God heaps troubles upon him. He strives against Islam and God heaps troubles upon him. He struggles against the champion of Islam, against a person serving God and God heaps troubles upon him. Observe what happens to such people and you will see: You will see that whoever struggles against the saints of God, against those who struggle in the Path of God, is plagued by God.

People far removed from God can never be happy. People who do not resign themselves to God can never find abundance and relief.

Knowing the artistry of God, recognizing the Greatness of God, brings about plentitude from God; that takes away troubles, brings about relief. When God is forgotten somehow, pain and sufferings never let people in peace.

Focusing one’s attention on God and turning to God and not being distracted with trivial issues is important. Otherwise a person may feel embarrassed.

A person who abandons God falls terribly. We need to hold onto God tightly and never let go.

Abandoning God is the cause of all mental illnesses. The soul and body of a person who forgets God would be impaired.

God turns people to Himself through diseases and the death of their kins so that people can win their eternal lives. Disease is the best trial in this world. The beauty of people who take care of patients increases because of their altruism and fidelity. God creates a special light on their faces.

There is magma boiling underneath the Earth’s crust, and the crust is as thin as an apple skin. On it, God creates life that is full of numerous colorful vivacious blessings.
