What does idolater mean? It means those who do not consider the Qur'an as sufficient, who do not consider the commands of God as enough, may God forbid, those who attempt to teach religion to God, or those who make additions to the religion God revealed in the name of God.

Does Shi'ism have a place in the Qur'an? Does Sunnism have a place in the Qur'an? Where do you come up with those concepts? Does Wahabism have a place in the Qur'an? There is only one Qur'an, there is only one Islam. The only name we all have is 'Muslim'.

Idolaters do not like the Mahdi, they do not like the second coming of Jesus Messiah, they do not like the Islamic Union. They express this by distorting the truth with their tongues. In the Qur'an God says, “It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of Truth to exalt it over every other religion, though the idolaters hate it." That is because the idolaters fiercely resist the Islamic Union, they resist the Mahdi, they resist the second coming of Jesus Messiah.

The things demanded by the Qur'an are only a few: Performing prayers is explained very briefly in the Qur'an, fasting is explained very briefly and giving alms is explained very briefly. God commands us to be merciful, compassionate, to avoid telling lies, to be true. He commands us to have good intentions and to love one another, to love God a lot; to be of help to one another and to avoid worldly ambitions for goods because everything belongs to God. The commands in the Qur'an are very few. The rest is all about the foulness of the unbelievers, the impertinent behavior of the unbelievers, of the people of heresy and the responses given to them.

Idolaters can insult, use bad language and attack. God says, "Do not mind them!" Why does God tell us not to mind them? That is because God is the One Who gives them that power. If He wills so, there would be no one to call 'idolater'. God is the One Who creates them and their speech. If He wills it so, He could make them unable to speak. That is why God wants Muslims to have a very calm spirit.

We talk to them reciting verses and say, "That is what God says in the Qur'an". They reply saying, "This is not what the hodjas we know are saying." Why do you not trust the Qur'an? You do not trust the Book of God. They insistently search for the religion of their forefathers in the Qur'an. They refuse anything else if they cannot find it in the Qur'an. The fact is, however, religion is learned directly from the Qur'an, not from forefathers.

There were no sects at the time of our Prophet (saas), at the time of the companions. There were no Wahabis, no Sunnis, no Shias. There was only Islam as commanded in the Qur'an.

With radicalism, they have stigmatized Islam throughout the whole world. They want to extinguish the sun of Islam. Hanging people, chopping the up, beating and degrading women, calling them half-people, demanding no music, no pictures, no art, no goodness, no beauty, no affection, no nothing. Are you all mad? It is as if they have a longing for Hell. There is no such thing in Islam.

If you abide by the Qur'an you cannot say that music is unlawful, you cannot say that paintings, sculptures, having fun and laughing are unlawful; but if you are in a radical conservative system, music, paintings and sculptures are all unlawful.

Satan complicates religion and people thus keep aloof from religion. They transformed Islam into the most terrifying religion in the world right now. They misrepresent it as a system that kills all life, that removes all aesthetics, all the beautiful aspects of life, as a system that demands terror, that demands bloodshed and that ruins life. The fact is however, Almighty God says, " God desires ease for you; He does not desire difficulty for you." And He says " God has selected you and not placed any constraint upon you in the religion —as in the religion of your forefather Abraham."

Radicals consider the commands of God in the Book He sent as insufficient. For instance, salat (prayers) is explained in the Qur'an yet they see it as insufficient and try to add things to it. Fasting for instance; they look at the Qur'an and see it as insufficient. They try to add things to it. They try to add things to every other religious act. But if there is something that is in conflict with their own interests, then they try to subtract things from those commands. They say, "This verse has been nullified, the command of this verse has been lifted".

Our Prophet (saas) learned what is unlawful from the Qur'an. There is no unlawful or lawful apart from what is in the Qur'an. The Companions asked our mother Hazrat Aisha (ra) "What is the sunnah of Rasulullah?" And she replied "the Qur'an." So do not invent things. Lawful and unlawful acts are only defined by the Qur'an.

They have changed Islam into a pagan, polytheistic system –may God forbid- and the way God uses to bring people into line, to correct their wrong ways is through disasters and scourges, through hunger, wars and terror; God creates a devastating terror for them to change their ways, so they back down from their ways. They, in return hold on more tightly to their idols imagining that their salvation is in those idols. The truth of the matter is that such an attitude is the exact reason why they are in this state.

Idolaters sometimes present themselves as if they are about to do something good but they are treacherous. You should not believe the face an idolater displays. The good behavior he displays in front of you, or the speeches he gives and his words, are not valid. Their insidious and covert maniacal world is the truth. The Qur'an draws attention to this fact.

Crying is the general characteristic of idolaters. They misrepresent themselves as crying, blubbering people as if they are sentimental, compassionate and easily flappable. And thus their paths are opened for them. Actually, one only cries out of fear of God, out of love for God; but these ones cry as a ploy, to put on a show with their idolater spirit.

Independent love is not acceptable. She says "he doesn't love me enough." First of all, God is the One Who creates love. You are asking for the love of idolaters. You are asking for the love of idols. If you attempt to idolize a man, you would become an idolater anyway. God would plague you, you would feel distresses. God would take away the love from that person's heart. You would niether love, nor be loved. God would make you hollow inside. Love should be directly expected from God.

We should do as God says, what our Prophet (saas) says, what his companions say. Were there sects at the time of our Prophet (saas)? Were there sects such as Hanafis, Hanbali, Maliki, Shafi'i, Shi'ah and Wahhabism at the time of our Prophet (saas)? No, there weren't. In order to avoid the damnation of God, we need to return to the pure and real religion of God, to the Qur'an.

Prophets would never come up with additional lawful and unlawful acts on their own accord if they are not defined in the Qur'an. There is an explicit verse in the Qur'an about this.

Some people say, "Why is Syria being razed? Why is Iraq being razed? Why is Libya being razed? Why is Egypt being razed?" They fell into idolatry and idolatry brought troubles towards them. A Muslim should avoid ascribing partners to God.

God says that Muslims will be successful so long as they do not ascribe partners to God. Some people fail to understand this secret. I mean if you abide by the Qur'an, you would not fall into idolatry. If you do not abide by the Qur'an and act according to made-up, false hadiths, you would be an idolater.

Mourning is a custom of idolatry, a custom that was in practice in ancient Sumeria, Mesopotamia, the Hittites, in ancient Greek, in ancient Egypt. In numerous hadiths, our prophet (saas) has prohibited mourning. It is against the Qur'an. It is rebellion –may God forbid- to the blessings of God. It is not an act that befits Muslims; the meaning behind it is atrocious. There is no mourning in Islam.

Martyrdom is something to rejoice in. It is an honor, a blessing; it is not something to mourn about. Only idolaters mourn about death. Only unbelievers cry for such things. In the Qur’an God says, “Let them laugh less and cry a lot.” And what do you say? You say, “Do not laugh!” God says that for idolaters. Muslims do laugh, and they only cry out of love for God.

What kind of interpretation of Islam is it if you do not preach to atheists and Darwinists? Who are we meant to command good and forbid evil to? Who are we meant to struggle against? Muslims have a duty to talk about Islam to Jews and Christians, known as the People of the Book, to atheists, to pagans and to everyone, in the kind of language they can understand. That is God’s command. You cannot talk about Islam using hostile language, only through love.

Radicals believe that they are the most devout ones when they turn the life of this world into a life in Hell, when they misrepresent Islam as hellish. For instance, they believe that it is out of piousness when they turn praying into an inextricable act. They believe that it is out of piousness when they make it impossible to perform ablution, whereas God described performing ablution in a single line in the Qur'an.

Radicals had Muslims decimate one another. One party kills the others and vice versa. They took pride in that. "Today we have killed two hundred Shias, praise be to God," they say. The others say, "We have killed three hundred Sunnis today, praise be to God. We have bombed them." This radical understanding of Islam brought about this disaster.
