Ocalan is strong now, because he is in prison. That is because he is very well protected. If he were to be sent out, this situation would change instantly. Ocalan is not someone that communists would take seriously.

At this moment, we are strong enough to become the leader of the Islamic World. May Allah forbid, a disintegrated Turkey would never become the leader of the Islamic World. No one would take notice of Turkey in these conditions.

Ocalan actually is not a leader PKK would want to have. Communists regard him as having betrayed Marxism. Ocalan has lost his authority as a leader.

Islamic world is in destitute because they do not have a leader. Without the Unity of Islam this agitation will continue.

It is obvious how crucial it is for Muslims to have a leader. But some people fail to understand because their foresight is closed. In the coming days God will open the foresight of people insha'Allah. Our Lord will open their insight and they will instantly perceive the importance of the Unity of Islam, the importance of having a leader heading Muslims.

When the leaders, scholars meet they should not leave it at making good wishes. It is important to come to a result in the Unity of Islam. Only saying; "let us unite," would be a dead proposal. Without the leader, without the Mahdi, there will not be any unity, there will not be the Unity of Islam. First of all the leader should be found. Allah has selected Mahdi as the leader.

There are many leaders in the world but God does not give any of them the power to make things right in the world. That is because, in destiny, God will ordain the global prevalence of Islam to Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh).

The best thing to do is to unite the Islamic world and to make sure that they elect a leader for themselves and turn this world into a Heaven on earth so that they will respect people from all walks of life, that they will turn this world into a sea of happiness by leading the world in a way that everyone can live together happily.

Satan specifically targets the leaders of the Muslims.

Muslims should definitely have a spiritual leader. Headlessness is causing the devastation of Muslims.

Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is a crucially important personality. When there is Mahdi (pbuh), it would be wrong to say that another leader should be elected for Muslims.

Mahdi is not a person who desires to become a leader.

God says that Muslims should definitely have a leader. He says that every nation has a leader. He says; "I will give you richness, abundance, peace and security in unity and solidarity." God says; "Or else I will make you taste fear and pain, I will make you suffer." And that happens exactly as He says. It is no use to try and ignore God's open command.

Turkey is the leader. We are stressing its leadership. If you say the Unity of Islam, they will ask, “Who is your leader?” Who is the pioneer? The Turks are the pioneers. That is why we say, “The Turkish Islamic Union.”

God refers to a leader in the verses of the Qur’an and He refers to a leader selected to lead the Muslims. Muslims would not be leaderless after all.

All animals, all creatures have a leader. All religions, all sects have a leader. Buddhists, for instance, have a Lama as their leader. Christians have a leader, they have their Pope. Jews have a leader, they have their Chief Rabbi; and you say that “Muslims will not have a leader.” Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is the name of the leader of Muslims that will appear in our days.

The Qur'an wants Islamic Unity. The Qur'an wants an imam to be assigned; wants Muslims to have a leader and thus refers to the system of the Mahdi.

The reason why that little child washed ashore is because Muslims didn't select a leader, because they did not decide to unite. But the most important point in the decision to unite is to elect a leader. Everyone, all the heads of states keep saying, "Let us unite," without selecting a leader. Select your leader and then see if everyone unites or not? If you say, "This is our leader" that means unity is accomplished.

It is religiously unlawful to resist the Islamic Union. It is a religious obligation for Muslims to select a leader. Every delay causes the sin that falls upon one to increase in folds. Muslims become responsible for every person killed, for every inoffensive Muslim suffering. That is because they persistently reject the Islamic Union, they persistently assume an attitude against the system of the Mahdi. As they assume such an attitude against the system of the Mahdi, the murders, the deaths, are all increasing in folds.

Muslims are killing Muslims: All this would end if Muslims have a leader. With the Islamic Union, all Muslims will be saved. They will be saved on that day and hour. A spiritual leader, a leader elected with a loving bond would stop all the terror and all the groups of anarchy. That will spread a spirit that takes love and brotherhood as its basis to the whole Islamic world and everyone will see that they are protective friends of one another.

Muslims will unite and they will have a leader heading them; we can give that person whatever name we like. We can call him the Caliph of Muslims, we can call him the Chief, we can call him the spiritual caliph. There is no need to be obsessed about the name.

It is explicitly stated in the Surah An-Nur, verse 55 - and also in many other verses - that the Islamic world will unite. In the Qur'an, Muslims say, “O Lord, make us leader of those who are God-fearing." That means the Islamic world has a leader, a chief. There is no mention of a leaderless society in the Qur'an, all the societies in the Qur'an have a leader. The Islamic world will have a leader [as well]. They have nothing [they can use] to deny that.

Unification of the Islamic world is known as the system of the Mahdi. The system of the Mahdi equals the unity of the Islamic world and we call the leader heading the Islamic world Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh).

Throughout history, God has always created leading people to guide believers to the right path. The Mahdi (pbuh) will be the leader of believers in the End Times.

Every society has a leader; respecting a leader doesn’t amount to worshipping or idolizing him.
