According to the Qur’an, Muslims have an obligation to give away a part of their livelihood –what is left from their needs- to the needy. Muslims look after one another. There is no selfishness in Islam.

Actually it is very easy to keep those who are in need, happy. God commands us to give away whatever is surplus to our needs.

Always thinking deeply and elaborately, and being upright, respectable and clear-headed is what befits believers.

As God has stated in the Qur’an, all the beauties of this world are for believers and in the Hereafter, they will be given exclusively to those who had faith during their life in the world.

As Muslims, our ideal is to live the spirit of Heaven as described in the Qur’an. We want to live the enthusiasm and joy of this spirit.

As they become mature and their knowledge increases with age, believers’ enthusiasm for carrying out good deeds and serving Islam increase incrementally as well.

Believers always think broadly.

Believers are happy to spend their wealth for God. Hypocrites have an insane greed and consider spending for God as a loss. Believers don’t collect and accumulate wealth. It is a compassionate act of worship to distribute wealth.

Believers ask for worldy possessions from God in order to use them in His way and to serve His religion.

Believers do not approach each other haughtily; they are compassionate and merciful towards one another.

Computer games are good for the development of children’s intelligence but it is important for children to be active and mobile.

Hypocrites have an extreme fear about their future and dread what will happen in the future. They also fear losing their wealth. Hypocrites stay with believers for their own self-interest and when they have no self-interest left, they leave. Hypocrites greedily accumulate wealth and property. Muslims always distribute their wealth to earn the good pleasure of God.

I spend what I earn in the way of God; I never accumulate my earnings.

Religion is practiced as a community. Patience, giving alms and preaching religion are acts of worship within community life.

The conservative traditionalist understanding of Islam while complicating religion with additional rules, has reduced the amount of alms and charity given. In the Qur’an, God commands believers to give away what is left from what one needs to sustain their lives. But the traditionalist orthodox system -which is not based on the Qur’an- says that only one in fortieth of one’s wives’ gold should be given as alms.

Wealth turns into a disaster for those who hoard that wealth. The wealth of believers is for distributing on the Path of God and for being instrumental in goodness.

...Even though millions of my books are sold, I never accept any royalties. I don't own any property, and I have no savings in the bank.

It is common among young people to make snide remarks about each other. They think sarcasm shows intelligence; in fact, it is a humiliating form of behavior. Showing respect to each other and honoring one another is what really demonstrates one’s intelligence and wisdom. Sarcasm and cynicism is nothing more than an atrocious competition to humiliate one another.

Without wisdom, mere intelligence might cause disasters. Hypocrites are very intelligent but they are extremely foolish. They have an evil intelligence yet they are ultra fools.

Helping the poor is a means for better health. Charity brings both prosperity and health.

A Muslim never pursues his personal interests; he gives for God’s approval.

God commanded us to spend money, property and wealth for good causes and not to hoard it.

God commands us to distribute wealth among those in need and not to let it circulate among a certain wealthy class.

A believer considers serving Islam as a blessing but hypocrites don’t want to serve Islam. They follow their own evil religious law. Living alone, being stingy and feckless, leading an aimless, vain life, any act of moral turpitude and lying are all acceptable in the evil religious understanding of hypocrites.

A believer could never understand the spirit of a hypocrite or an unbeliever. It is a way of life that believers do not know and would never understand.
