There is no freedom for cursing. No one should say, “I have the freedom of cursing, I have the freedom to insult others.” Everyone has freedom of speech but there is no such thing as freedom to insult. If one says I want to curse anyway, the law gets hold of him.

Freedom of thought does not mean insulting everyone, upsetting everyone, hurting them and attempting to suffocate their joy and love. Love should be taken as basis. The concept of freedom of thought is sacred; that is okay, but love is even more sacred, kindness is even more sacred, respect is even more sacred.

If there is criticism, it means that a country is free. If it is not possible to criticize anything, it is not possible to live in that country. There should be a lot of critics. That is a sign of health, a sign of beauty and liveliness. If no one makes a sound, it means death; that is a sign of death. Opposing journalists, opposing television stations should all be able to voice their opinions loudly.

One criticizes those he loves. Friends criticize; the criticisms coming from a friend might feel bitter, but they are like medicine.

Man is unbridled in seeing himself as self-sufficient. One should not see himself as self-sufficient. He should constantly criticize himself. He should criticize himself openly and thank those who criticize him. He should say, “May God be pleased with you”.

"... Enjoin the right, and forbid the " this is the duty of a Muslim. Muslims criticize Muslims, appreciate each other's nice characteristics and remind them of their shortcomings.

How should fair admonition be done? It should be in a non-offending manner that doesn’t hurt anyone’s feelings, that doesn’t agitate anyone, that doesn’t disturb anyone.

Let everyone speak out their opinions, let everyone criticize. Why is there the need for curses, for defamations? Curses burn out those who curse. They would have their hearts torn out. They would lose their happiness and joy. They would lose the radiant light in their faces. That would give them pain.

If one does not criticize himself and sees himself as sufficient and above criticism, he would become insane. A Muslim should certainly criticize himself and have others criticize him. This is necessary for one's sanity or else one's mental health would be disrupted; his judgment and reasoning would be impaired. His foresight and perception would be blocked. Have a look at those around you, you will see. Avoiding criticisms would cause instability and would prevent one to be reasonable.

In order to be stable and reasonable one should certainly criticize himself. Even if it is once in a while, he should certainly criticize himself and one should do so when he is in the company of others. Only then one could become a stable, reasonable person. That is a miracle of the Qur'an. A solid, tangible miracle.

Have a look at some people around you, at those who do not let anyone say a single word about themselves. They come up with an explanation to every single thing they are told. They do not even accept something that should certainly be criticized about. That kind of attitude would create heavy damage and cause a very significant problem in one's psyche. Look around you and you will see; but those who criticize themselves are very lenient. Such people are very stable and very consistent. You can see that around you as well. That is a miracle of the Qur'an.

God has given very nice secrets that would keep one's mind sane. Before all else, one's commitment to God would keep away all immorality, all abnormality. Putting one's trust in God would take away the torment one does to himself. When he becomes patient, he would become friends with everyone around. When one is loyal, he would attain a personality everyone would love. When one criticizes himself, he keeps his sanity intact. When one is criticized by others, he becomes a rational, stable and loveable person.

Lethal criticism is not acceptable, destructive criticism is not acceptable. Criticisms should be constructive.

Anyone who likes can criticize religion but no one can insult. I criticize communism but I would not let anyone insult communism, I would not let anyone curse them.

The laws and the legal system aim to bring forth beautiful and beneficial people. Legal system is a blessing to prevent all kinds of harms. We've seen the good in it. For instance Fazıl Say no longer says any inappropriate things against people, he avoids making indecorous statements. His statements are much more decent and much more appropriate now and that is a good thing. This means the law has had a positive effect on him.

There will be slanders and curses casted upon the system of the Mahdi, upon the Muslims. Muslims should not be affected by that, they should not be afraid of that.

Just like no one would ever let anyone revile against themselves, we would never let anyone say libelous words about God, may God forbid.

A person may not have faith or he may not believe in God’s existence but it’s unacceptable for him to slander the religion. Slandering religion and faith is not freedom of expression. Reviling believers is not freedom of expression.

Our Master Tayyip has always lived a life full of sufferings. Those insults he had been subjected to will turn to him as good deeds.

Our friends should approach our Master Tayyip more compassionately. Being subjected to a continuous spirit of hatred would harm a person’s psyche deeply and it would wear him out. Gross insults to the Prime Minister and his kin are both a sin and a shame.

Freedom of speech is for expressing ideas, not for cursing.

There are some people with the mentality that states “I persistently want to insult.” We, as a nation, will not get used to insults. But you will get used to be punished so long as you carry on your insults.

Religious communities constitute the backbone, the basic structure and the foundation of the government.

People will pledge their allegiance to the Mahdi (pbuh) three times. The first time will be in Istanbul, the second time will be in Mecca, and the third time will be in Jerusalem. During the allegiance pledged in Jerusalem, Mahdi (pbuh) will call Jesus Messiah. He will say “Your security will be provided for. Show yourself.” After that Jesus Messiah (pbuh) will come along with a smile, together with a group of his students.

Our President Mr. Erdoğan is a person who lays the foundation for the Mahdi (pbuh). In my opinion, his presidency will also continue at the time of the Mahdi as well. That is because he is an ideal administrator, an ideal person. Our Prime Minister will also go on with his post at the time of the Mahdi, it appears. I mean this is how I feel. That is because he is a very talented, very decent, very trustworthy person.
