Democracy is the wisest way. The only way for Turkey is democracy. Our army will not compromise on democracy; our soldiers are good people.

The Turkish people will act with solidarity as they always have. Soldiers, police, people stand as one. We won’t accept unrest.

Without statements by the Chief of Staff confirming a military coup, these claims will not be valid. Our soldiers are very sensible.

May God protect our country from unrest, problems and sedition. God says sedition is worse than murder.

The priority should be eliminating sedition; things will calm down by the will of God. Compassion will prevail.

May God end the disorder, make things calm down. May God allow order to return. May things get back to normal.

May God protect both our soldiers and our police from harm’s way. This sedition must end quickly.

Truth and justice will always prevail. Tyranny will fail. May God protect our people from sedition.

Turkish people will never compromise on democracy; everything should be solved within the framework of democracy and with compassion.

Turkey is a modern country. Democracy, love, unity, integrity, and a sensible approach befit Turkey.

Saadet, BBP, MHP, CHP and all parties should make statements on live TV in favor of democracy; the whole world should see our unity.

No Turkish person would endorse something like this. Resorting to such methods when democracy can solve everything is unacceptable.

No one in Turkey will accept overthrowing an elected person through non-democratic means. This is unacceptable.

Approaching everyone with compassion is an attribute of believers. It’s the attribute of a believer to make effort to protect and save every human being.

Everyone should stand for legality. Our soldiers are sensible people, they can tell right from wrong. Our Chief of Staff is a very decent man.

Our Prophet (pbuh) related that the Mahdi will employ some unprecedented methods.
