God commands us not to stay in places where religion is mocked, yet the majority of those with the traditionalist orthodox understanding of Islam present jokes mocking religion as an ugly treat. This is unlawful according to the Qur'an.

God helps those who are honest and loving; God makes those who are loveless and envious come apart at the seams.

I am not adversely affected when people speak ill of me. On the contrary, the furiousness of envious and loveless people gives me joy.

Muslims’ influence in preaching religion, their quality, courtesy and ability to carry out intellectual activities in the most important places stir envy in hateful hearts.

Muslims’ quality, courtesy, cultivation and taste in art only cause the jealousy of haters. This jealousy would only harm the haters themselves.

Those who assumed that Muslims will not enjoy any beauties but will always be oppressed are now envious of the means Muslims have. Hatred of envious people only burns themselves. They get uglier as they burn and they burn even more as they get uglier. Their lovelessness brings them to a standstill.

People with an inferiority complex try to overcome that feeling by speaking negatively about beautiful people in order to comfort themselves. Not paying any attention to loveless, jealous and envious people would demoralize such people.

Jealousy over happiness started with satan’s jealousy of the Prophet Adam. Good people should know that there will definitely people who will struggle against them. God did not create this world for us to live like there is no tomorrow. It is a Muslim’s duty to live in a state alertness and vigilance every moment of their lives.

It is common among young people to make snide remarks about each other. They think sarcasm shows intelligence; in fact, it is a humiliating form of behavior. Showing respect to each other and honoring one another is what really demonstrates one’s intelligence and wisdom. Sarcasm and cynicism is nothing more than an atrocious competition to humiliate one another.

Jealousy means wanting others to lose the blessings they’ve been given. A jealous person would be saddened when the other is blessed with goodness and would be happy when the other faces malice. That is a grave immorality and a grave persecution. God has a secret knowledge. The envied one would become even more auspicious, even more vivacious and fitter while the one who envies becomes pale, exhausted and devastated.

Most of the time people’s relationships are based on the sole purpose of irritating each other. They mock, irritate and upset each other. But they all hurt in the end.

Unbelievers only imagine that they can ridicule Muslims. In fact, their pathetic attempts only heighten the ranks of Muslims in Heaven.

Jealousy will eat up a person; the body will suffer, get sick. The target of jealousy on the other hand will get better, healthier. God makes it sure that jealous people hurt themselves while the ones that are envied get better in every way. Many jealous people don't know that.

Our beloved Prophet (saas), Hz. Hassan (ra) and Hz. Husain (ra) have all appreciated the value of women and loved them dearly. The hypocrites of the time were jealous of their love for women.

Some people are being insincere and jealous when they enjoy a lifestyle not conforming to Islamic morality while criticizing others for it.

The envious statements of some people who have lost their joy of living and spirit of love only harm themselves.

Mockery shows the lack of character and immorality of the irreligious. This is an honor and beauty for believers.

The existence of atheists, all their writings, their speeches mocking religion are there to increase the good deeds Muslims attain. As one continues in his faith despite all these, that makes him more valuable.

When they are made fun of during their preaching they say, "I am demoralized." They have no idea about destiny, they have no idea about the Qur'an. Thank God for seeing such a miracle. Be amazed; your good deeds are increasing while their sins are increasing. What is your goal? Is it not to attain good deeds? You then say that you are sad. Why should one be sad because his good deeds have increased?

Some people communicate religion but they say, "I am communicating religion yet they are making fun of me." What kind of a preacher are you? You do not know the first thing about the Qur'an? You hit your feet on the floor and it makes a sound right? When you communicate, they would of course make fun of you; this is the law, this is the law of God. If you are preaching religion they will of course make fun of you. Why are you surprised about it?

Those who mock the ones preaching do so because they are fiercely effected, or else why would they bother to do so? They would have never bothered if they were not effected, they would have gone about their own business. They mock merely to calm themselves: That is because their good conscience starts disturbing them. That is a precaution taken by unbelievers against that disturbance.

If you define the reward you get while preaching religion as three in numbers, it becomes thirty when you do it after being mocked. If the severity of mocking is high, it would be three hundred. If it is very very severe, it would be three thousand, let me say. What is your goal? Is it not an act of worship? God creates an act of worship for you.

They say, "We are preaching Islam, but they mock us." Who is the One that makes them mock? God is the One Who does that. He creates it at the same time with the preaching. It is a hidden honor created by God to increase the worth of preaching, of that act of worship. It is against unbelief, it is in favor of Muslims. It is an honor for Muslims and a scourge on disbelief. When you do not take that mocking seriously, your reward would increase many fold.

Religion and sacred values can never be a matter of mockery. People can make jokes on ordinary daily issues, but we do not want anyone making jokes about religion. I mean making jokes in matters that would offend 90 percent of the country is not acceptable.

A believer considers serving Islam as a blessing but hypocrites don’t want to serve Islam. They follow their own evil religious law. Living alone, being stingy and feckless, leading an aimless, vain life, any act of moral turpitude and lying are all acceptable in the evil religious understanding of hypocrites.
