Arrogance is a type of mental illness. Those who are unable to realize their own weaknesses and still act arrogantly cannot be considered as reasonable beings.

Cemeteries, hospitals and places that represent weaknesses and the difficulties of this world are like religious schools that can help people avoid being consumed by the life of this world.

In Heaven, we will not have any worldly weaknesses and we will have the things we long for. This will make us happy each and every day.

Jokes shouldn't be offensive or hurtful. Jokes should motivate and lift the spirits of people.

Jokes should always be about honoring people. A joke that makes people uncomfortable is not a joke.

Accepting jokes about religion as normal and ordinary only shows how far removed a person is from religion. A believer would never accept that.

Making a joke is not something easy. It requires intelligence, care and will-power. The jokes most people make generally aim to offend and humiliate the other party. These cannot be regarded as jokes. Such a language would be impertinent. Behaviors aimed to nourish one’s own arrogance and disgrace the other side are unacceptable.

Our Prophet (saas) had a striking beauty and was very well-built. At the same time, he always made jokes, he was always happy.

There can be no joke regarding religious issues. A Muslim is obliged to reflect on his state at death bed and his state in the Hereafter.

Muslims are meticulous and reverent on topics related to religion and faith. Making jokes on religious topics is not proper.

It is unacceptable to make jokes about religion and faith. Those who do such jokes are weak in faith.

Religion and sacred values can never be a matter of mockery. People can make jokes on ordinary daily issues, but we do not want anyone making jokes about religion. I mean making jokes in matters that would offend 90 percent of the country is not acceptable.

Making jokes and speaking in a mocking tone is not acceptable while talking about God and religion. Religion cannot be made a topic of entertainment.

Prophets do not look like common people, they have a very sensational grandeur and radiance. Our Prophet (saas) has had an amazing grandeur. Sometimes people could not look at his face because of his radiance. Their tongues were muted. In order to decrease the heaviness of this grandeur and to set people at ease, our Prophet (saas) used to make jokes.

Almighty Allah wants us to have fun. Our Prophet (saas) has the hadith in which he encourages making jokes. There are hadith related to jokes. Make jokes, but why do you involve the hereafter and angels? This is indeed very bad.

A believer considers serving Islam as a blessing but hypocrites don’t want to serve Islam. They follow their own evil religious law. Living alone, being stingy and feckless, leading an aimless, vain life, any act of moral turpitude and lying are all acceptable in the evil religious understanding of hypocrites.

A believer could never understand the spirit of a hypocrite or an unbeliever. It is a way of life that believers do not know and would never understand.

A believer who lives according to the moral values of the Qur’an is responsible to protect others like his own children. This is the system of guardianship in Islam.

A believer who strictly adheres to the Qur’an would never be unhappy or withdrawn.

A calming tone is always right. One needs to correct every provocative sentence, invite people to mildness and be moderate.

A careful person can detect malevolent people from their negative energy. When hypocrites walk into a place, their negativity is sensed immediately.

A compassionate person does not have prejudice or show bias against people. Being prejudiced is ignorance and vulgarity.

A cultivated person of high quality would never associate himself with prejudice.

A good joke gives joy to the person at which the joke is directed.

A good person is understood from his words, balanced state of mind, courtesy, understanding of compassion, sharpness of mind, peaceful face and wit.
