We, as a nation, do not accept to follow any path that would lead to separation including federative structure.

Some people imagine that Turkey will be much more peaceful and serene once it is disintegrated. It would not be as they imagine. PKK envisages a very ferocious regime in the South East.

Our people should be wary of the plots to divide our nation.

A federative system can by no means be accepted for Turkey.

Federation, autocracy; these are all fancy names for separation and disintegration. Supporting separation with fancy names would be treachry.

We would never accept any of the separationist suggestions brought about with fancy names.

Federation means separation. It is a fancy, a polite name of separation. Once a federation is established none of the political parties could be active in the South East. Only communist parties can be active there.

Autonomy, federation, autocracy, the federative state system; these are all fancy names for separation. Beware of that! Our soldiers have been martyred because they stood against these names. None of our martyrs will ever accept that. No Turkish youngster, no Muslim would ever accept that.

Words like federation and autocracy do not befit the spirit of strong Turkey.

If Turkey were as powerful as the Ottomans, as the USA, then there could be a federative system, an autonomy, there could be cantons, it wouldn’t matter. But right now we are facing an enormous danger.

If you attempt to turn the system of the government into a federal system in a small country, that would be dangerous. It would be a very dangerous and that would be an act set out to destroy Turkey. If you set out to destroy Turkey, Turkey would destroy you. Then the Last Day would break loose.

Planning to bring in a federative system, planning to break up Turkey and release Abdullah Ocalan: That is a grave ignobility and a viciousness that is far worse than killing. That is a grave sedition. Almighty God says that “sedition is worse than killing.”

We will never give way to separation. There will be no federation. There will be no amnesty. Those who killed our soldiers and policemen will remain in prison for a lifetime.

Federalism means handing over the Southeast of Turkey willingly and wittingly.

If you are timid enough to hand over the Southeast, any country could break you into pieces. Everyone can attack you. If Turkey gives such a timid appearance, if she appears to lack the power to protect the Southeast, any country could dare to attack. Let us scrape off the PKK from our Southeast regions. All necessary precautions should be taken. If we need to give martyrs, let us give martyrs. Let us save that region from the scourge of the PKK, no matter what the cost is.

Turkey should remain as a whole. If Barzani were to join Turkey as a federation, that is acceptable of course: If they want to join Turkey as a great Kurdish region, we would be proud of it, we would like it a lot. For instance, that is the same with Greece as well. They should ally with Turkey and adhere to Turkey. But our homeland is already a small one, Attempting to divide such a small country is highly disturbing for us.

This homeland does not lack an owner. They are putting on a plot that would fence in the government; that would mean the collapse of the government. I mean, they are trying to drag the government into a federation. That would ruin the government, that would ruin Turkey; that would ruin the Middle East, as well as the world.

Being divided would leave Turkey decapitated. That means dying, may God forbid.

Dividing Turkey means immorality. Such an immoral one would not be able to live in Turkey. They would all be ruined within the pain of the Last Day. No one should ever attempt to be dragged into such immorality. We will never let something like that happen.

Federalism, local management, united federal states; all those are movements that aim to divide Turkey.

They should put it in their minds that we will never let Turkey be divided. We will never let anyone divide our country, not under the name of federalism, nor in the name of this or that. We will never let the murderers of our soldiers and our police officers be released. We will never let that happen, not at the risk of our lives. We are ready to be martyred but we would never hand over our homeland to these traitors, to the PKK. They should forget about it.

We would not allow Turkey to be divided. We will never let an American style of federalism be formed; that would break Turkey to pieces. We will not let those murderers out [of jail] either. They will do their time in prison. That is it.

We will never allow separation in this homeland. May God forbid me the enjoyment of life if I ever let that happen. We, none of us, would ever let that happen.

We would not let Turkey be separated, neither would we let them build prestige for Abdullah Öcalan. They are striving in vain on television. We would not let that happen so long as we are here. Our people would not let them and I would not let them either.

The Turkish public would never approve of a federal system, federalism or autonomy.
