People there are not given the right to chose; they are at gunpoint. Their votes would not be valid. The security of the people living there should be provided before all else and elections can only be held after that.

The PKK would never lay down their weapons and Öcalan would never want them to do so. Weapons are their only assurance anyway. They have attained this power in the Southeast by means of weapons. They became an addressee of the government because of the weapons they have had. Thanks to those weapons, the pictures, the posters of Abdullah Öcalan became lawful to carry. Those all happened with the effect of guns.

These people are preparing for an uprising in April; how can some people still talk about them laying down their weapons? There are weapons all around the Southeast right now.

If you are losing something there is good in that. You haven't come to this world to live forever. You lose the smallest things and then obsess about it. What if you lose it? You are exaggerating it; actually there is nothing wrong in it if you look at things rationally.

God creates a beautiful world when one puts his trust in God. One should be honest and sincere towards God, in submission to God. When one is not honest, God starts causing pain for that person.

God says, "Do not worry; just submit and put your trust in Me. Leave it with me. You will be very comfortable even while dying. But if you worry, if you do not submit yourself to Me, you will be hurt."

Muslims are at ease, they are at ease everywhere because they submit themselves to God and put their trust in God; they will be very much at ease when they are resurrected in the Hereafter. For instance, Muslims watch the Last Day in joy.

We see that some civil servants are timid and do not put their trust in God in standing against the PKK. That is unbecoming. Our Prophet (saas) appeared with a handful of people, with 40 people. A Muslim should be brave and fearless.

People far removed from God can never be happy. People who do not resign themselves to God can never find abundance and relief.

Those grasping the secret of resigning themselves to their fate, those who find that truth and hold onto it are actually holding onto the greatest blessing, greatest relief in the world.

One grovels when he doesn't know about destiny; he suffers. But if you are aware of destiny, God gives plentitude and bestows blessings upon you. Troubles you endure become your religious services. That is because submitting one's self to God in every moment of life is like performing prayers in every moment of life.

Blessings will increase if one is grateful. What does being grateful mean? It means abiding by the Qur'an, submitting to God and being pleased with what God gives. The man is not pleased with God and is constantly complaining. He believes – may God forbid - that God has treated him unjustly. How could there be blessings, if this is the case? Of course, such a person is not given blessings.

Sometimes God gives a rank to some people, gives them power, gives them means. You would not be a person of guidance if you say, "Why did God give him such a rank? Why did He give that person that easiness?" A person who -May God forbid - questions God would not be a person of guidance. One should say, "There is a goodness, a benevolence behind this. God knows but I don't."

Being patient and trusting in God are two important characteristics that God loves and likes. What does trusting in God mean? It means a Muslim will be faced with great incidents yet he will always put his trust in God and be patient. He will not worry, he will not be sad, he will not be afraid.

Even if something goes seemingly wrong, a Muslim should know that there is good in that. Some say, "Something went wrong." If you put your trust completely in God, whatever happens would be for the good.

One says ,"When I make a mistake, my good conscience disturbs me, it makes me unable to breath." That stems from letting Satan suffocate you. Why is there the need for that, my brother? You simply put your trust in God and that is it, you repent to God. What does repentance mean? You hope God will accept your repentance. Then, what does being suffocated mean? That would mean that you do not trust God. If you've made a mistake, you've made the mistake in your destiny. Did you decide to never to do it again? You did. If you are determined about this, that takes care of it.

God tells us that there will be ordeals and pain in the world. Submit yourself to God as you should and see if you would suffer. God knows pain but He doesn't experience pain. People will know pain but they would not experience that pain if they submit themselves completely to God. One needs to find that secret, that secret of complete submission.

One should improve himself even further, increase his knowledge, memorize the Qur’an. One should try and put every verse of the Qur’an into practice, enforce his patience, strengthen his will-power, strengthen his faith. One should widen and strengthen his submission to God and root the love of this world out of his heart. One should not be affected by the ignorant ones who forget about God.

A Muslim would be aware of evil plottings but would not be distressed about them; that is because God is the One Who creates them as well, so a Muslim should keep his calm.

One’s connection to God should never be severed. If one severs his connection to God, he would lose his trust and submission to God. Once that happens, he would become very tense, angry and uneasy. Submission to God is one of the greatest blessings on Earth that should never be forgotten, even for a second.

What one would be doing in his lifetime is already defined in his destiny. What will happen is already preordained in destiny but he worries nevertheless, yet God has created everything in the best way possible. What is the sense of this worry? I mean there is no logic behind it and there is no rational explanation for that worry. That is because everything has already happened anyway. You are worrying in vain. Almighty God has created the best in everything.

God has given very nice secrets that would keep one's mind sane. Before all else, one's commitment to God would keep away all immorality, all abnormality. Putting one's trust in God would take away the torment one does to himself. When he becomes patient, he would become friends with everyone around. When one is loyal, he would attain a personality everyone would love. When one criticizes himself, he keeps his sanity intact. When one is criticized by others, he becomes a rational, stable and loveable person.

One would be happy and have his mind relieved when he performs his prayers, when he performs ablution, when he submits to God’s will, mentions the Name of God, reads the Qur’an. God has created man in a way that he would feel that need. One would be suffocated if he doesn’t live all these beauties. These are all blessings that prevent one to be drawn in that water, these are lifesaving blessings.

Submitting to God’s Will is the greatest comfort in this world. Palaces wouldn’t make one happy, but submitting to God’s Will would. Once you submit to God’s Will, all sufferrings would dissappear. That is because man is created as weak. God has created this as a blessing to man.

We should always be asking for perfect faith and submission to God. A Muslim should constantly ask for that blessing saying; “O Lord, make me a servant of yours with perfect faith.” That is because it is a great blessing.

One should put his trust in God. If you do not put your trust in God everything would give you pain, you would be bored of everything. Everything would make you afraid, everything would overwhelm you. All the incidents in the world would seem to come at you. As the verse of the Qur’an refers, God makes such people’s breasts narrow and constricted as if they were climbing up into the sky. One should submit to God for his heart to be at ease.

Mourning was practiced by ancient Summerians, Akkadians, Hittites, Egyptians and other idol-worshiping tribes; it is forbidden in the Quran through a large number of verses and hadiths. It completely contradicts putting trust in God.

A believer will never defy God, and will be content with Him no matter what happens. He will always trust God.
