Of course, a believer should be open to advice. A Muslim might make a mistake, there is nothing wrong with this but he should always pay heed to advice of others: In other words, a Muslim shouldn't be arrogant, disrespectful and snobbish, right? You cannot say things such as "Begone; go away to the disbelievers." Saying so is unlawful. On one hand you are trying to win people over to the cause of Islam, but on the other hand, you are trying to expel people from it. If you are going to expel people, then why are you trying to win disbelievers over?
