Mother tongue

Whole Turkey is like a single province, we are all brothers and sisters. There is one single family in Turkey. One single family, one single room. We are living here as a family. One of our children speaks Kurdish, one of our daughters speaks Turkish and another speaks Laz language. We are all intertwined.

We would not accept anything other than Turkish as our official language. That is because language is a powerful means that connects us, it is an important bond. If you severe that language bond, you would thus be pulling the country into pieces.

Having Turkish as the official language is a comfort not just for Turkey but for the whole region.

Education in mother tongue is not a sincere demand; that is a demand for separation.

If they want to do so, they can open Kurdish courses in every street but education will be given in the official language, in Turkish.

It is not right to be insistent about education in mother tongue. If all others , Circassians wanted to have education in their mother tongue, that would have destroyed our country.
