The Sun moves across the sky, yet the tiny honeybee never loses its way. With a brain no larger than a pinhead, how does it navigate so accurately?
Scientists found that bees use a remarkable system based on two internal clocks. They constantly track the Sun's position and adjust for the time of day. A direction learned in the morning is corrected as the Sun shifts at midday. Signals from the bee's antennae provide additional guidance for this complex process. If these signals mismatch, the bee's solar compass becomes confused and unreliable. The bee processes wind, light, landmarks, and memory simultaneously with only about one million neurons. This tiny creature performs calculations that resemble a sophisticated living navigation computer. Who programmed such precision into a creature so small and delicate? In Quran 16:68 we see: "And your Lord inspired the bee: 'Make your homes in the mountains, in the trees, and in what people build.'" This perfect navigation system is a sign of God's wisdom, knowledge, and power. The Lord of all the worlds. Bees act through God's inspiration.
