Mahdi (pbuh) is a man of love. He is the key of the deadlock of persecution; he solves it, and thus people would be delivered from that chain of persecution. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) has no political aspect. He will neither be a prime minister nor a president. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is the teacher of love. Muslims should have referee, a loving father, a leader who distributes love. There is the need for a leader who would lead them towards that friendship, that understanding spirit, one that would calm the tensions, that would remove the spirit of fights and inject them the spirit of love; someone they love very much. No unity will ever be formed among the Islamic world in the sense of a spiritual identity. A body can survive without a head. A headless body is a dead body. They try to do things using a body with a severed head. You cannot do anything with a spiritual identity. A spiritual leader is needed at the top of the Islamic world.
