A Muslim would never want to give up his faith; he would be terrified. That unwillingness to give up faith is faith. Or else whisperings might come and go but a Muslim believes in his subconscious as well. Once he believes in God faith settles in his heart.

Faith is the sincere belief in one's subconscious. Or else one's mind might come and go. I mean all kinds of opinions might pass through one's mind. For instance, one might think if something is right or wrong; these are ideas inside one's brain. Ideas would be like a storm in one’s mind. They have nothing to do with faith. They are called the whisperings of satan. Faith is something settled in, I mean a sincere conviction that is intertwined with, one's consciousness, one’s good conscience.

For one who spent all his life as a Muslim, it would be the whispering of satan to be concerned saying something like, "Would I be able to preserve my faith at the moment of death?" There is no need to take that serious. No such thing would happen. I mean a wholehearted, subconscious faith is the basis. Or else something might happen to one's mind, such whisperings have no validity. God would look at one in all his integrity.

If you are seriously favored in a testing environment, it would annul the free will of mind. It would even take the free will of your mind. You are being tested as well. That is why prophets have diseases as well.

The greatest mistake is when a person gets sick, he takes some medicine and thinks, "I can get over this disease with this medicine." In fact one should honestly say, "Oh Lord, make this medicine instrumental in my healing." Or one gets injured, something happens and he puts on an antibiotic saying, "Alright, this will do it." But that is not how it should be, you should say, "My Lord, make this instrumental". Otherwise you would be idolizing that medicine. God is the One Who creates that medicine, Who gives that medicine that power to heal. God is the One Who shows that image inside your brain.

With faith, you commit to Almighty God Who is the Owner of everything and you feel wondrously at ease. For Muslims, meteorites are wandering in the sky like lambs. But for an irreligious person they are horrifying monsters. For instance, the magma underneath us is like lukewarm milk for us. But it is like hell for an irreligious person, a sizzling hell that would burn them. Our hearts are at ease because we fear only God. We know how God would command it; we know that the magma is under the command of God. We know that every single atom in the magma is invoking the name of God and that it all submits to God.

What is perfect morality? It is patience, compassion, self-sacrifice, honesty, bravery and loyalty. Without fear of God, one would fall into heedlessness. For instance, one might say that he loves God but not perform prayers, saying, "I love God, God doesn't need my prayers." He might have a lot of money but not give alms, saying, "Those in need can find it elsewhere. I do love God and money makes me happy, it helps me be close to God." Or perhaps, one does not act bravely, saying, "I should not risk my life, I am living nicely here." But in fear of God one shows courage.
