Quote
All the beauties of life are in religion; there is music, there is fun, there is joy, there is love. Religion covers the whole of life and makes all those religiously lawful. There are very few religiously unlawful acts. Religiously lawful acts on the other hand are innumerable.

All malice, all persecution, all murders are perpetrated by those who do not fear God. Communists, Darwinists, materialists, those who do not believe in God, those who would not fear God. They all emerge from among those who do not fear God. For instance, radicals behave viciously because they do not fear God.

There is no such thing as anyone who doesn't have a fear of God going and behaving immorally. But all the despicable people have emerged from among those who do not fear God. That is very important. One who fears God, would not behave like that anyway, such a thing is impossible. All the incidents of rape , all malice are perpetrated by those who do not fear God. That should be known.

Satan would want to blow down a successful Muslim. If that Muslim is doing something beneficial, satan would want to render it ineffective. For instance, he is writing a book, satan would want to stop it. He is preaching religion but satan would want him to stop. He is talking about something good and satan would want him to stop.

Satan obtains results rapidly in unbelievers. I mean he gets very fast results one after the other. He can escalate anger to the highest levels instantly so much so that one person goes and shoots another. He makes them persecute others instantly or be disloyal in a moment.

A Muslim, a devout person might have difficulties in understanding satan but the disbeliever thoroughly knows the satan. A Muslim wouldn't have such cooperation, such a connection with satan. That is because Muslim wins every time, and thus he takes no account of satan. For instance, he behaves patiently whenever there is something to be patient about, he never stoops to egoism on occasions one might behave egotistically.

Satan is an interesting creature. I mean no concrete intervention on humans can be seen during the course of one's life. We understand that he employs methods such as dragging people into sentimentality, into pessimism.

Radicals have laid such a heavy burden on Muslims; so much so that they have driven Muslims almost mad. They are unable to turn right or left, it is forbidden to laugh, it is forbidden to talk to women. God wants us to laugh; He wants us to be joyous. Why do you hurt them in vain? They are inventing prohibitions on their own. Laugh; laugh as ever you like, wander around as ever you like, put up the pictures you like at your home, put up statues, let young girls put on make up as ever they like, let them be well-groomed; let young men dance and have fun. These are all lawful and permitted according to the Qur'an.

We see that some civil servants are timid and do not put their trust in God in standing against the PKK. That is unbecoming. Our Prophet (saas) appeared with a handful of people, with 40 people. A Muslim should be brave and fearless.

Traitors should think carefully. They should be sure that they will get their just desserts without fail. For instance, the PKK will definitely find their just desserts. That is because it is a movement of the antichrist. The movement of the antichrist is certainly transitory. It is a system that is destined to collapse and will certainly collapse.

Traps are created in two pieces; one is the trap itself and the other is the trap as it is put out of order. These are created as a block, as a whole. Traps are never created alone. For instance, there is Pharaoh and there is Moses (pbuh). There is Nimrod and there is Abraham (pbuh). There is antichrist and there is Mahdi(pbuh). Antichrist is a trap and Mahdi is the one that puts it out of order. Therefore there is no need to be on thorns.

One grovels when he doesn't know about destiny; he suffers. But if you are aware of destiny, God gives plentitude and bestows blessings upon you. Troubles you endure become your religious services. God says that Muslims will be successful so long as they do not ascribe partners to God. Some people fail to understand this secret. Blessings will increase if one is grateful. What does being grateful mean? It means abiding by the Qur'an, submitting to God and being pleased with what God gives. The man is not pleased with God and is constantly complaining. He believes – may God forbid - that God has treated him unjustly. How could there be blessings, if this is the case? Of course, such a person is not given blessings.

Sometimes God gives a rank to some people, gives them power, gives them means. You would not be a person of guidance if you say, "Why did God give him such a rank? A Muslim should never say, "I have performed my prayers, so I will be able to go to Heaven and that would be enough for me." A Muslim should want his rank to be high in Heaven. Does the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) ever do anything cruel? No, he doesn't. He is a compassionate, merciful, gentle person. I mean he never engages in anything against Muslims. He always acted in favor of Muslims and there was goodness in every one of his acts. Such people are the people of guidance.

The whole world is in misery right now because of their stinginess. There are a handful of wealthy people and they constitute, let us say, 1% of the world's population and the other 99% is in poverty. Islam is where love and affection can be experienced in the most beautiful fashion. Muslims are in love with Muslims; they never put a limit to their love because they love with the love of God. Women are ruined in the traditionalist orthodox understanding of Islam. They can neither have the freedom to dress up, nor to laugh, or to sit properly or to walk about as they like. Even their eating as they wish is an offense. They [the radicals] say, "If you let them eat a lot, they would go rampant and cause you troubles. Chopping people up, cutting their heads off and holding those heads in their hands, leaving everywhere in blood, in cries and groans, hunger, unaesthetic, ugly images, depravation; this is the dreadfulness in which a great many portion of the believers of the orthodox understanding of Islam live in.

In the traditionalist, orthodox understanding of Islam, the world has turned into a grave; everywhere is a place of torture. The "a cardigan and a bite of food" mentality is the other name of misery. Pain and suffering is considered as a foundation. It is forbidden to laugh, it is forbidden to be joyous; music, paintings, television, everything beautiful is forbidden. Life is very difficult, that is how God created. If you put radicalism on top of this like a hump on the back, saying that one should not laugh, one should not go out to streets, one should not talk on the phone, it would ruin society; there would not be one happy person left. One would lose his sanity, one's mind would stop working and one would become unable to do anything, unable to produce anything and would ruin all his artistic capability. Bediuzzaman advanced religion, the truth of religion in Turkey and Turkey cleaned itself of radicalism.
