Why are stories in the Qur'an told? For everyone to take the moral of the story. They are not told simply as stories. They hold light to an event that will take place. Cruelty will come first, then compassion will follow; cold-heartedness will come first, then compassion will follow; first there will be lack of love, then love will come.
