Neither the Last Day nor death would have any aspect that would make Muslims uneasy. It would offend God if Muslims think that they would be persecuted or suffer somehow. The whole issue is in submitting to God wholeheartedly and in loving God. Once you attain that, you would progress steadily on the right path. You might want to go faster, but God would not let you speed up. The system of the Mahdi is a system that progresses slowly. The followers of the Mahdi blossom out slowly as well. Some people assume that Islam can only prevail with huge expenses, great activities, organized movements, by doing things covertly, etc. Look at the Qur'an and you'll see that Islamic values have always prevailed metaphysically. The whole issue is in attaining sincerity. Quote

One only serves the system of the Mahdi and cannot claim to be the Mahdi. Look carefully into the course of history and you will see that they all ended up defeated.
