God wants to be loved with a profound love. God wants a deep, attentive rapport. For instance, God says, "Be thankful to me, render your thanks and invoke My Name frequently." The goal here is to establish a constant connection with Him. God loves to be loved but He loves to be loved greatly and that is Almighty God's due.
