For passion to be real, one should submit to Allah completely. Even if one says that it can be done anyway, that is not the case. It would not be passion. Allah creates passion; passion is felt by those who submit to Allah completely. That is a blessing, a beauty bestowed upon them by Allah. For one who spent all his life as a Muslim, it would be the whispering of satan to be concerned saying something like, "Would I be able to preserve my faith at the moment of death?" There is no need to take that serious. No such thing would happen. I mean a wholehearted, subconscious faith is the basis. Or else something might happen to one's mind, such whisperings have no validity. God would look at one in all his integrity. Quote
