If you become fixated on the love of a person, it would be idolatry. You should love with the love of God. Even the songs are about separation. Why don’t you love as the manifestation of God? It is not acceptable to support ISIS; that is because they are trapped in idolatry. But many Muslims are also in idolatry. I cannot support their faith either. Martyrdom is something to rejoice in. It is an honor, a blessing; it is not something to mourn about. Only idolaters mourn about death. Only unbelievers cry for such things. The best thing to be done against ISIS is to explain the truth with love, science and wisdom. God takes away love from the hearts of those who ascribe partners to Him. Their loved ones run away from them and they chase after them; however had they have given their love and their appreciation for beauty directly to God, had they prayed to God, God would grant them those blessings. Quote

If you idolize the one you love, if you ascribe them as a partner to God - may God forbid-, if you assume that the one you love has an independent existence, God would take that person away from you.
