Allah establishes a special connection with those who believe and do good and sincere deeds. He listens to their words and wishes, accepts their prayers. In the Qur'an, Allah says; "[He will] reward them for the best of what they did and give them more from His unbounded favor". For instance, if Allah gives them health, He then increases their health, if He gives them welfare, He increases their welfare, if He gives them properties, He increases that, if He gives them influence, He increases their influence, if He gives them power He increases their power. A person falls ill from his arm and he constantly goes to medicine. But why do you not also pray for it? Make your prayers, medicine is just a vehicle, what does it have to do with medicine? God would not be pleased if you forget that He creates all things. God gives pain and He grants recovery; this should not be forgotten. One should not detach his connection with God for reasons such as tiredness or even at moment of death. We should remember God ceaselessly. When we feel that we are falling into idolatry, we should supplicate to God and take refuge in Him. Our detachment from God would not be pleasing to God. God grants us all the blessings. We will show our love for God by remembering Him all the time. God wants persistent remembrance of Him. Just as one is not pleased when a loved one leaves, God is not pleased with our distancing from Him. Quote
