After the appearance of the Mahdi (pbuh) and the establishment of the Islamic Union, the impact of the good deeds one collects would drop from one million to three. That is because the rest will be very easy. All hardships will thus be removed. The antichrist (dajjal) will then be dead. The period of the system of Mahdi is a long one. The reason this period will be as long as 40 years is so that it possesses a great spiritual merit. Otherwise, God could establish the reign of Islam in one year if He wished so. However, the believers would earn one year’s worth of spiritual merit in that case. God extended the period of the system of Mahdi to 40 years so that it has great spiritual merit.

That is why being in this world for a long time is rewarding as well; that is because when you remain in this world, you acquire millions of good deeds.

People should keep their grandparents at home with them. That would bring richness to their homes. Placing them in nursing homes would bring about direness. You can provide the same conditions at home as well. You can reserve a room of your house to them and that would bring about auspiciousness to your home.
