The symposium that was held to say that there is no Mahdi is in fact a sign of appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). The Mahdi is heralded in all books of the Qutub al-Sittah. All Ahl al-Sunnah scholars agree on the fact that the Mahdi will come. In Shia belief it is a fundamental tenet of faith. How could people’s beliefs be erased? Will they burn all books dating back 1,000 years? Those who are against the way of the Mahdi are struggling in vain.
