In the era of rising of the system of Mahdi, there needs to be the opposition, the anti-Mahdi movement. If there was not the dajjal (antichrist) and sufyan then there woudn’t be Mahdi; likewise if there wasn’t characters like Darwin and Marks there wouldn’t be Hazrat Mahdi (as).
