Prophet Jesus (pbuh) will come as the vizier of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), that is what our Prophet (saas) foretold. In order to honor the Mahdi, in order to emphasize his greatness, Almighty God sends Jesus Messiah as his vizier. The greatness of the Mahdi could be appreciated from that alone. When Islam prevails, one who attains a million good deeds would only attain one good deed. Someone who previously attained a million good deeds with an act, with a behavior, would only attain –let us say- five good deeds with that act when Islam prevails in the whole world. The world has come to an end, and the Almighty God wants the end to be magnificent. He does not want Christianity, Judaism and Islam to conclude with such a polytheistic and miserable end, but a magnificent one through the belief of oneness of God; an ending with the appearance of the Mahdi (pbuh), the descend of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) and the dominance of Islam.
