God says that, "This world is not the place for play and idle sport. The Heaven is the place for play and idle sport. This world is a place for trial." That is why if you fasten yourself to this world, you would be stuck with it, says God. But if you aim for the Hereafter, if you aim My approval, I will make you happy for all eternity, you will have fun and laugh. Those who fasten themselves to this world would merely grovel, let me say that much. They would merely wallow and flounder. Nothing else would ever happen.

God checks up faith related sensitivities. Starting from the Prophet Adam (pbuh) until the Last Day, all people will be put through a perfect trial without any exceptions. No one has ever been granted any privileges that would remove their freewill of mind.

God wants to be loved with a profound love. God wants a deep, attentive rapport. For instance, God says, "Be thankful to me, render your thanks and invoke My Name frequently." The goal here is to establish a constant connection with Him. God loves to be loved but He loves to be loved greatly and that is Almighty God's due. That is because He is the Owner of everything, He is the Owner of all beauties.

When in comfort, they unite against God in wide masses and rebel against God almost worldwide. When they are crushed, they pray to God and beg. What is the need for that crushing? Do not do that, be wise, repent. Be thankful to God and say, “O Lord, You are Great, I do love You so much” and see that God would make blessings rain down on you. Why are you looking for trouble? Why do you go astray and run riot? Why do you crush yourself?

Love is the purpose of the foundation of this world. Almighty God would not create the universe if it was not for love. He creates for love. Love is also the purpose of Heaven. Love is the purpose of the trial [of the life of this world] as well. What God wants from us is love.

There is no patience in Heaven, there is no courage, there is no reason to be courageous. You cannot be patient, courageous, brave. There is nothing to resign one's self to. Purity, self-sacrifice, none of those exist in Heaven. It is the abode of fun. Of course there is being thankful and praising, there is seeing the Manifestations of God and loving.

The trial of Muslims is really difficult. I mean an easy trial would be very humiliating for Muslims. That means there is really a painful situation for that person, that means there is something weird. The tougher one's trial, the better it is for him.

There is a special system organizing poverty in the world. There are individuals leading that system and there are those who give orders to them as well. There are those who give orders to those who give orders. There are those who they cannot see giving orders. Poverty is specifically being organized and they cannot stop it. God says, "I bring about poverty when they fail to be thankful." What God says happens, people cannot stop it.

Muslims become handsome with faith, they become beautiful with trial. If that trial is taken away, Muslims would be devastated, may God forbid. I mean if one does not come across any difficulties, that means they acquire no good merits. We came to this world to be tested; that is why Almighty God says, "Or did you suppose that you would enter the Garden without facing the same as those who came before you?"

Materialists say, "If God exists, He should turn this world into Heaven. Why are there all those troubles and pains?" Look at the reasoning here. Haven't you come here to be tested? Since you are not here to have fun, since you are here to be tested, of course there will be pain and troubles. Of course there will be hardship. How are you going to be tested without those hardships?

“Thank” is a word of love. What does thanking God mean? It means my Lord, I do love You very much, I do love You madly. I extend my endless thanks to You. This is the meaning of hamd (thanks).

Thanking God, saying “Alhamdulillah” is a way of showing love. "Oh Lord I do thank You," you say. What does thanking mean? If there is no love inside that, it loses its whole meaning. The meaning of it will be completed only if there is love in it.

Martyrdom is what God likes the most. God finds the greatest love in that. But a Muslim should will for that, not just randomly but should sincerely and wholeheartedly will for that praying "My Lord, I ask martyrdom from You."

When the time comes and a Muslim becomes a martyr, that is what God loves the most; that is the highest form of love. That is because it means one gives his life for God. Isn't one's life precious? He says, "My Lord, You made me love my life, I love You more than my life. My life is Yours. I am Yours." This is what it means. That is why Almighty God keeps martyrs in a separate place and does not make them die. They do not taste death.

When one gives his life on the path of God, that is what God approves of the most. God defines it as the greatest form of demonstration of love; martyrdom, being a martyr for God.

The families of our martyrs should never be left alone. Their homes should be like prayer houses. They should be immaculate, sparking clean places in which God's Name is mentioned every day. Their visitors should clean the house for everyone. They should say, "Mother, let us clean the house for you." They should do the dishes if there is the need to do so, they should cook for them if they don't have food.

God loves self-devotion, self sacrifice. That is why God loves martyrdom. This is one of the beauties God loves the most. God calls it "one of the two best things." God calls martyrdom and becoming disabled while striving on the Path of God as the two best things. That is one's losing his arm, his leg on the Path of God. God likes this very much.

God regards martyrdom as the highest form of love. That is what God likes the most. But of course the most acceptable martyrdom is attained while one is actually striving on the path of God. That is because such a person goes to war openly knowing that it is possible that he will be killed and will be martyred there. Going on a struggle on the path of God, without feeling fear, is what is most acceptable.

Capital punishment should be removed from the world. You can give life time imprisonment to those who deserve. Why is there the need to execute a person? Let the man repent, read the Qur’an and perform his prayers. But you go ahead and execute that person while he is still in his ignorance. You would thus be setting fire to his life in the Hereafter and his life in this world as well. Let him repent, let him pull himself together and make up for all he has done.

At the time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) police stations will be vacant, prisons will be vacant. All police stations will be closed, all prisons will be closed. People will be astonished asking themselves; "Why have we ever felt the need to establish police stations? Why have we ever felt the need to build prisons? Why have we suffered all these pains?"

Building walls means building prisons. Prisons gripe one's soul. There are prisons, walls in the Hell. We do not want walls in this world. We do not want prisons. At the time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) all walls will be demolished. All prisons will be demolished. Everyone will be in a festive mood.

The Mahdi’s disappearance twice mentioned in the hadiths probably refers to his imprisonment twice.

Ocalan is strong now, because he is in prison. That is because he is very well protected. If he were to be sent out, this situation would change instantly. Ocalan is not someone that communists would take seriously.

We are the community of Hazrat Mahdi (as), we are the followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as), insha’Allah. We consider being a martyr the greatest honor. We consider it an honor to be imprisoned.

If you abide by the Qur'an you cannot say that music is unlawful, you cannot say that paintings, sculptures, having fun and laughing are unlawful; but if you are in a radical conservative system, music, paintings and sculptures are all unlawful.
