The reason why Cyprus was handed over, why the navy was left to wither away, why Darwinism spread, why brothels and beerhalls were opened at the time of Abdul Hamid should be explained.

We have no anger aimed at the person of Sultan Abdul Hamid. We are explaining all his errors simply to make sure the history is known accurately and to protect our people and our homeland from harm. Embracing someone as a leader without putting forth his mistakes would cause his followers to follow his mistakes as well. That is why the mistakes of Abdul Hamid should be voiced.
