A believer only weeps out of joy and happiness. He would never cry out of grief.

Satan, the self, dissentious people, blood-shedders, warmongers, thieves, evil people; all are a part of the trial. "If it weren't for " some people say. They will always exist. If the trial exists, so will they. What you must do is to respond to them patiently through wisdom and willpower and defeat them.

The Mahdi (pbuh) is a very patient person. His spiritual post is very high due to his patience. May God make us all followers of the Mahdi.

Mourning is unlawful according to religion, it is an ancient pagan custom. As the ancient Sumerians, ancient Egyptians, Persians, Hittites did not believe in the afterlife, in martyrdom, they considered death as a disaster. They would cry as to rebel against God. Us Muslims regard martyrdom as [achieving] an honorable rank.

Generally people are very impatient. They regard one another as expendable. There is patience, friendship and brotherhood in Islam.

Some people use crying as their weapon when things contradict their interests. This is a devilish method of fussing in order to arouse pity for themselves, in order to acquire something, in order to object to something, to frustrate the other party. A Muslim cries for the love of God. They do not cry to bother or frustrate others, as this is indecent and atrocious.

Persistence, loyalty, resoluteness and Islamic zeal are the attributes of the Mahdi movement.

A woman likes profundity, loyalty, courage and love of God. A woman looks for profundity of the soul.

God has given very nice secrets that would keep one's mind sane. Before all else, one's commitment to God would keep away all immorality, all abnormality. Putting one's trust in God would take away the torment one does to himself. When he becomes patient, he would become friends with everyone around. When one is loyal, he would attain a personality everyone would love. When one criticizes himself, he keeps his sanity intact. When one is criticized by others, he becomes a rational, stable and loveable person.

Loyalty is for God. The cost of loyalty is very hard for a faithless person. It would get a person into trouble. It brings plenty and radiance to Muslims, it brings beauty. It is an immense beauty and bravery. Every single minute one shows patience would shatter his bones and cause a great suffering. Patience is shown only with faith. That is why people are obliged to the Qur'an.

What is perfect morality? It is patience, compassion, self-sacrifice, honesty, bravery and loyalty. Without fear of God, one would fall into heedlessness. For instance, one might say that he loves God but not perform prayers, saying, "I love God, God doesn't need my prayers." He might have a lot of money but not give alms, saying, "Those in need can find it elsewhere. I do love God and money makes me happy, it helps me be close to God." Or perhaps, one does not act bravely, saying, "I should not risk my life, I am living nicely here." But in fear of God one shows courage.

A Heaven resided in by robots is not an environment God likes, God doesn't want robots. One who hasn't proven his loyalty, his patience or his courage wouldn't have a feeling of self-worth in that sense. That means he couldn't regard himself as worthy and beautiful if he didn't make sacrifices, if he didn't act generously, if he didn't strive on the path of God, if he didn't do anything to show his love.

Hypocrites tried to find out the flaws of our Prophet (pbuh). For instance, they couldn't grasp why our Prophet paid more alms to some people.

Crying is not acceptable for us. We did not cry in Çanakkale. We did not cry in Dumlupınar. We did not cry in Malazgirt. Why would we cry? As a nation who desires martyrdom, as a nation who regards martyrdom as an honor, why would we cry for martyrs?

Let us please put aside the habit of crying at the funerals of martyrs. It is not in compliance with the Qur'an, it is not in compliance with our customs; there is no such habit in the morality of Islam. That is a custom observed since the ancient Sumerians. It is not appropriate to cry after those who have gone to Heaven.

God creates affection, love and loyalty. If one doesn’t have love for God –may God forbid- then He will not create those who have love for you. If one forgets God, then He forgets him, too.

Those whose houses are destroyed in the earthquake earn good deeds as if they have given alms and those who are injured in the earthquake earn good deeds as if they are ghazis (veterans). May God give long lives to all the sufferers of the Adıyaman and Urfa earthquakes.

Time will make love stronger because it reveals loyalty, patience, faithfulness, and selflessness. Age will not impair love.

Love provides beauty in every aspect. For instance, if a song is sung with love, if it is played with love, it gives an insatiable pleasure. I mean when you do something with love, it yields perfect results. If one talks with love, it can be listened to with an amazing joy. If one looks at another with love, it gives an amazing joy. Even when you show love to a flower, that flower becomes so beautiful and so sweet.

There will be the best of music in the Heaven. The music in the Heaven, the songs there, will enrapture people.

The Prophet David (pbuh) was singing with love for Allah and dancing. At that period because he danced, there appeared some people who looked down at him in their own twisted minds.

The bigots of the time criticized the Prophet David (pbuh) because he sang and danced. Actually he was dancing out of love of Allah, how beautiful this is. Furthermore the Prophet David (pbuh) has a very beautiful voice.

When a believer thoroughly masters love, God takes them into His heaven. Love does not occur out of nowhere; love develops through suffering, agony and training.

The palaces, the rivers, the fruits of Heaven; none of them would have a meaning if it weren't for love, for passion. And to achieve true love, we have to go through training, through suffering.

God wants to be loved. Because without love, Heaven would lose its meaning. The universe would lose its meaning; everything would lose its meaning. They all find meaning in love and passion.
