If you told those [who are weak in faith] to remain sleepless for the sake of God, to serve Islam, they wouldn't do that; but if you told them that they would win a car if they waited standing up for days without any sleep, they would do it without hesitation. This shows the tendency of the inner self to assume an animalistic, dishonorable, low character.

It would not be acceptable if love is contaminated with idolatry. For instance, one might say, "I do love my friend a lot, I do love my spouse a lot." And when then asked, "Do you love God?" he says, "I love God as well." That is not acceptable. He should say, "I love my spouse for the good pleasure of God, I love my friend for the good pleasure of God. I love them as the manifestations of God."

People should be taught about loving people for God’s consent. In its absence, people keep looking for someone who is richer or more attractive.

Because people don’t experience loving for God’s sake, their relationships often end up in pain. Happiness comes when one loves for God.

God teaches us that one's wealth or children should not be more worthy than striving in the way of God and paying service for God's approval.

Love is called so when it is felt towards God. Love occurs only when one seeks the highest approval of God. Otherwise, it does not exist. It only becomes technical cooperation.

Some people talk within the lines "But how are we to find the money?" about helping those who are in need. God would bring plenty in folds. The good deeds that will be attained is important, attaining the good pleasure of God is important. If you attain the good pleasure of God, He would give you riches. If you do not act in a way to attain His good pleasure and are stingy instead, God would take away everything you have and you would lose all your goods and possessions.

If love is not based on the consent of God, everything comes to an end when one's interest in another is over. A strong bond and loyalty will not form in people who have been raised within a selfish system.

It would be best if auspicious acts, charity works are done in secret, with only God knowing.

All my friends strive for God's approval, none of them expect any monetary return.

A person lives only for God, for his religion. Pursuing earthly interests is a very despicable act.

Some people use their knowledge only to show off and sell themselves. They do not think about earning the good will of God. Such people are described in the Qur'an as "donkeys loaded with weighty tomes" All knowledge must be used to earn the good will of God.

If people use their knowledge for mischief and conflict, God will not be pleased with this behavior.

If a person wants only the good pleasure of God, even if he thinks he misses out certain things in life, he would be living the happiest life and enjoying love to the fullest.

If one works to please God, God will make people love him.

People do not devote themselves completely to God; I can see that there is a great mass of people who would abandon religion once it conflicts with their interests. The Mahdi (pbuh), on the other hand, is a person who would always ask for the good pleasure of God even if it conflicts with all his interests. As it is understood from the hadiths, he would withdraw himself from all aspects of social life.

The best form of resting is – of course we do not do this for God to let us rest, but for the good pleasure of God- is perfect connection with God. There is no rest other than that. I mean one should never weaken his connection with God under no conditions. Saying, "I will put things right later on," is wrong.

My friends are not attached to this world. They put their trust in God and act only for His good pleasure.

Man has a great power of resistance. He orders his brain and doesn't do what Satan orders. For instance, he would serve Islam. The lower-self says, "I am exhausted!" a Muslim responds to his lower-self saying, "You create that tiredness with prompting," and says, "What exhaustion are you talking about? You would be jumping up and down if you were told that you would be given five thousand liras. You are lying, it is not true." Even if the lower-self says, "I am spent, I am tired, I am about to drop down," a Muslim would say, "If there were something in it for you, you would go insane and all energetic."

We ceaselessly spend in the way of God. Money should not be piled up but spent for God's approval.

Muslims demand wealth to use it in their endeavors on the Path of God, to do things that will grant them the approval of God. Otherwise, wealth would become a scourge for the concerned people.

Believers seek to get physically stronger, but they do it for God’s sake, to serve God better. Hypocrites, on the other hand, do it for materialistic gains.

My decisiveness, courage and commitment is only for God’s sake; not for anyone’s appreciation or admiration.

A Muslim only seeks God’s approval for everything he does during his lifetime.

I have been carrying out ideological work since 1979 and I have never gone on a holiday, not for an hour. I communicate God’s message for His approval every day of my life.
