The fear and love of God the pious, faithful people posses reflect themselves on their faces, and is felt and seen as excitement. Yet it is impossible to witness this in a person with a hollow soul, body, and mind. Because they are careless as they have severed their ties with God. And as they are careless, they have lost their sense of excitement.

The love of God does not give way to laziness. A Muslim does not become lazy. He is daring, vivacious and vigilant at all times. Laziness gives rise to all kinds of troubles. May God forbid it.

Our Prophet (pbuh) had a piercing gaze. Why? Because his heart was always with God. He feared God. But polytheists would stare vacantly. Because they would only care for the fullness of their stomachs. They were like animals, even lower than animals. Therefore, they would have animal-like gazes.

The fear and love of God prevents people from gazing purposelessly. There can be no explanation for the purposeless gazes of those who fear God. The gazes of those who fear God are definitely clever, piercing and watchful.

There is a beauty, a profoundness, a delightfulness in the gaze of those whose hearts are with God. But the gaze of those whose hearts are careless and distant from God gives their true nature away. Almighty God informs us about this in the verse of the Quran: "If We wished, We would show them to you and you would know them by their mark.." What God refers to here by mark is their gaze. The reason behind their purposeless gazes is that their souls are hollow.

The existence of God and faith in God are the greatest blessings. We love Him with a great love.

So long as the Darwinist education system exists, women murders will continue. Because the Darwinist philosophy belittles women. It takes away the love towards God, compassion, and fondness in people. On the other hand, the people with faith hold women in high regard. And this will happen in the era of the system of the Mahdi.

Knowledge might turn people towards violence. For example, they might become communists, Stalinists, terrorists. However, this is not the case for love; love is what makes us human. With love comes the fear and the love of God, the love towards others. When knowledge is combined with love, it gives rise to something magnificent.

The morality of Islam reigns across the world only by sincere fear and love of God, the morality based on them and submission to God and the Qur'an. Islam can reign only by profound, sincere faith, by having a sincere love of God.

In the communication of Islam’s message, sincerity and wisdom are the most effective factors. Knowledge or modernism alone will not suffice. One needs true, deep wisdom to explain faith in God. The most important thing is having a sincere belief, sincerely loving God, sincerely fearing God. The message of Islam cannot be communicated with a snobbish, pretentious attitude. Our Prophet (saas) didn't attend any universities, but achieved a world-wide effect with his wisdom stemming from his sincere faith. The Prophet Moses wasn't overtly eloquent, but he was very sincere. Because of his sincerity and deep faith, he was able to influence everyone. The Prophet Jesus and the Mahdi (peace be upon them both) will make Islamic morals triumph worldwide with their sincere faith. Jesus will not be a university graduate and the Mahdi will not have madrassa training, but they will make Islam triumph with sincere faith.

Hypocrites tell Our Prophet (pbuh) and his companions, "If we knew how to fight, we would certainly follow you." Hypocrites intentionally make themselves appear as incompetent. Additionally, they do not want Muslims to carry out activities for the benefit of Islam. So, they also try to hinder Muslims in this regard.

If no one ever objected to us as we preached the religion, if everyone accepted everything we said, supported us, praised us, what do you think would happen in the Hereafter? The reward would be much less. But if there is objection, if you are working and making an effort despite that objection, the reward will be immense. God creates resistance, a lot of resistance, only so that Muslims will be more greatly rewarded . It is a gift of God to Muslims.

The Companions of our Prophet (saas) always strove for the sake of God. But the hypocrites always had excuses like ‘our houses are exposed' or ‘we would have come if we knew how’. However, if they were told that they would be given gold, they would have immediately obliged. That is because it would have served their interests. However, one's interests should always be in showing good morality; one should choose faith and reward from God instead of gold. Otherwise one would start to turn into an animal.

A Heaven resided in by robots is not an environment God likes, God doesn't want robots. One who hasn't proven his loyalty, his patience or his courage wouldn't have a feeling of self-worth in that sense. That means he couldn't regard himself as worthy and beautiful if he didn't make sacrifices, if he didn't act generously, if he didn't strive on the path of God, if he didn't do anything to show his love.

May God reward with Heaven all our brothers and sisters that work for God’s good pleasure.

God regards martyrdom as the highest form of love. That is what God likes the most. But of course the most acceptable martyrdom is attained while one is actually striving on the path of God. That is because such a person goes to war openly knowing that it is possible that he will be killed and will be martyred there. Going on a struggle on the path of God, without feeling fear, is what is most acceptable.

It is an immoral, irrational and savage act to stab an innocent civilian and considering this an act of struggle in the way of religion.

The word ‘jihad’ means ‘striving or showing an effort’ NOT in the form of 'waging a war', but in the form of an 'intellectual struggle' according to the Qur’an. In Islam, war, military action, is only waged for the purposes of self-defense.

"Being thankful" in the Qur’an means "being a sincere Muslim." Otherwise, one would make profit by selling weed and thank God. Or one would oppress people, sell weapons and thank to God. This is not how it is. One can be thankful to God only by fully adhering to the Quran and being sincere.

Khidr (pbuh) tests people from time to time just as the way he tested the Prophet Moses (pbuh). People do not realize they are being tested by him. He not only tests but also educates people.

We love Bediuzzaman Said Nursi, but why do we love him? We love him because of his generosity, his devotion. Otherwise, what would be left behind? We love beloved brother Sungur [student of Said Nursi] for the suffering he went through. There are many other students of Said Nursi who we love dearly but we love them according to the sufferings they went through. We love less those who suffered less. We love more those who suffered more.

The Messenger of God had the honor to become who he was but the sufferings he went through were innumerable. Almighty God refers to Our Prophet (pbuh) as "My beloved one" as He loved him dearly. He loved Our Prophet because of his superiority.

When believers firmly adhere to the Quran, it is like sailing on an unsinkable and unswerving ship, they will never go astray.

Satan seeks to impede the mind. His most effective method to accomplish this is causing a sense of inertness. It can be readily seen in the eyes of many people. It causes an idle, dull look. Believers are like hawks. They will never give into such influence of satan.

Satan affects people in many various ways. Among these effects, one of the worst is the sense of inertness. Believers should counter it through their will and wisdom.
