In their twisted minds, the hypocrites do not respect Muslims but feel an incredible respect for unbelievers and hold them in high esteem.

The Companions of our Prophet (saas) always strove for the sake of God. But the hypocrites always had excuses like ‘our houses are exposed' or ‘we would have come if we knew how’. However, if they were told that they would be given gold, they would have immediately obliged. That is because it would have served their interests. However, one's interests should always be in showing good morality; one should choose faith and reward from God instead of gold. Otherwise one would start to turn into an animal.

One thing about hypocrites is that they want to make things difficult for Muslims. In their eyes, the more harm they can do to them, the better. They want to upset Muslims verbally, and make them uneasy, and spread the idea that Muslims will do bad things. Even the smallest amount of harm is still very valuable in their eyes. Yet the harm they imagine they are doing to Muslims always ends in Muslims earning more merit in the Sight of God, and in protecting them from evil.

Every time a hypocrite makes things difficult for a Muslim, he finds he has been drawn a bit closer to hell. And troubles in this world also begin plaguing him even more.

Hypocrites are always looking for filth. In the same way that the devil never tires of committing evil, so the hypocrite is always on the lookout for new adventures, since he also has a devilish soul.

The hypocrite is always working against Muslims. He spends 24 hours a day wondering what devilish things to do. But since the means at his disposal are limited, so is his range of activity.

The hypocrite is a devilish model of a human being. He is always dishonorable. He commits one foul deed after another. He never stops, because his lower self is under the control of the devil.

“I can live by faith and be together with those lacking faith at the same time,” he says. That is when hypocrisy begins. If you act together with the Prophet and with Muslims, then God will love you. But if you abandon Muslims and think you are being very clever, that is no good.

Hypocrites in the time of the Prophet Moses sought dignity and honor at Pharaoh’s side. Those Egyptian inscriptions and statues were all the equivalents of branding for them. Having hieroglyphics on the walls of their homes, wearing Egyptian clothing and speaking Egyptian were all very important to them.

Hypocrites also strive to lead believers astray. Since they have sickness in their hearts, they want believers to have sickness in their hearts, too. They want to make them like them.

Trusting in unbelief but not in Muslims, that kind of hypocritical way of thinking, is something that attracts the wrath of God.

Hypocrites think, “Muslims may one day be scattered and crushed, but unbelief can never be destroyed,’ They have always regarded unbelief as powerful, and they have always ended up defeated.

If you run after the transient world, God would make it constantly run away from you and the world would then become a trouble for you. However, the world would become beautiful with self-sacrificing people. For instance, our Prophet (saas) was very altruistic and selfless. His companions were very altruistic and selfless. None of them were self-seeking. Societies with self-seeking people collapse.

Many people are after their own pleasure and their own joy and use Islam to that end. They keep busy with their trade, looking for ways to eat, drink and travel, to get married and get on with their lives. This is the mindset of a great portion of the Islamic world. That is why God ruins the Islamic world. God wants them to turn towards Him yet they do not. God says, "You are after the transient blessings of this world but the Hereafter is the abode that is auspicious and beautiful, if you only knew."

God gives you a three dimensional image and you view it inside your brain; He gives you the ability to smell beautiful scents so that you smell them; He gives you the ability of tasting so that you find pleasure in those tastes; He gives you the sense of touch so that you touch, you swim in the sea, you go boating, you enjoy the world to the utmost; but when it comes to the Creator, you say, "I do not want to be the object of this." God would then plague you. This world is not a place of entertainment.

This life is short, our life in hereafter is the real one.

Some people assume they will live for all eternity in this world but they will certainly pass away in quite a short period of time.

The life of this world is very brief and it is a brief trial. People need to think about it and understand it.

God created an amazing environment for testing. The short human life, diseases, troubles; they are all a part of our test in this world. Most people are stuck in their test, not really seeing they’re being tested. Because they are not sincere with God, God punishes them.

People become obsessed with this world in vain. This world is hollow and a very difficult place of trial. In the end everyone ends up in a coffin.

God constantly shows people that this world is transient. Heaven is the real abode. God constantly draws attention to love towards Him.

This life is not for getting rich, or pursuing worldly goals. This life is to love and fear God.

This is a transient world. All those people that you admire die and go. All those buildings that you admire will fall into pieces and they are already falling down. You hold those clothes, those pieces of fabric, etc., in high esteem whereas you should be admiring God, admiring the Qur'an.

The Dajjal movement wants people to consider life as pointless and vain. It wants people to have the sole purpose of getting rich and married or just procreation and watching soccer games, etc. Those people usually live without thinking about the Hereafter, remembering it only on their deathbed.

The minds of many of those around the Prophet Moses (pbuh) were wrapped up with the unbelievers. I mean they'd gone to the desert but they did not forget the life they'd had back in Egypt. They were infatuated with everything about Egypt, they admired that ancient Egyptian culture, those cows, the life back there, their way of eating and drinking. A great majority of them remained in that insane spirit until the prophet Moses (pbuh) passed.
