A Muslim should fiercely stay away from fear of the future. That [fear of the future] means you do not put your trust in God but in that house you bought, or in the money you've saved up somewhere. God would devastate you. Furthermore, what good would that money be to you once God brings troubles upon you? Such a thing is not acceptable. No one dies out of hunger, no one who placed his trust in God has ever been harmed.

The fear of the future is what prevents people from becoming devout, practicing Muslims. Otherwise they would serve God, the Qur'an and Islam. But instead they waste all their time with saving money, having a career and getting married.

Fear of the future is a matter of faith: One can defeat that fear with faith. It is a sign of failure in this trial if one cannot put his trust in his faith. That fear should definitely be defeated.

In Islam, it is wrong to be averse to Jews. Surely, one can feel resentment towards those individuals who have committed sins or those who have oppressed people. In that case, those individuals should be held accountable through the legal system. But blaming the entire Israeli people, that is forbidden. It is not Islamic.

Of course we can have music and dancing and fun. You must not add artificial prohibitions to the faith. And then Islam will rule the world.

Every time one gets away from Islam, from the Qur'an, from Muslims, every single second is written as a sin against you, every single second. You will answer for every single second. Keeping away from Islam, from the Qur'an, from Muslims is unlawful. You might assume that it is something easy, but you would have to give an account for every such single second in the Hereafter.

Why are you pushing for difficulty? There is music in Islam, there are arts. You can laugh and have fun, you can dance as you like and perform your prayers as well. Then you can go travel and swim if you like. Killing every aspect of social life has no place in Islam. You deem all lawful things unlawful. God has given all those to you as blessings, and by wiping out these blessings, you are struggling against the religion of God.

They think that it is heroic to complicate Islam to the point of being impracticable. They want plenty of things to be rendered unlawful. Yet they don’t even refrain from committing the deeds declared unlawful by themselves. They say, "Otherwise everything would become lawful". That is the way Islam is; everything is lawful. Unlawful deeds are in the few. Such compulsion has no place in Islam. Prayers are quite easy to perform as well. Bigots are devastating the religion by complicating it.

Mourning was practiced by ancient Summerians, Akkadians, Hittites, Egyptians and other idol-worshiping tribes; it is forbidden in the Quran through a large number of verses and hadiths. It completely contradicts putting trust in God.

Homosexual relations will forever be deemed unlawful. It has been unlawful since the beginning of the world and will remain so till eternity. God never approves such foul behavior.

When the Qur'an commands "do not go near to fornication" (Surat al-Isra, 32) this verse forbids sexual relations which are unlawful.

Islam promotes liberties to the utmost. There are only things that are lawful and unlawful. People are completely free within the boundaries of lawful and unlawful. In other words, social pressure has no place in Islam.

Homosexuality is a disgusting perversion that is completely against the human nature. God has rendered women lawful for men through marriage. This is what God granted as beautiful and a blessing.

God has created women as pure as divine light, as befitting of human nature. Take women lawfully in marriage. Once you marry a woman, you will be together forever, even in the afterlife. Homosexuality is forever unlawful. Men having homosexual relations with other men instead of pure, beautiful women, is a horrible and disgusting deed.

Women should look attractive, well-groomed, charming yet be highly virtuous. Looking attractive is not unlawful. What is unlawful is unchastity.

Hypocrites have an animalistic fear for their future. They don't feel safe with believers; they seek to fit in with the unbelievers.

Many people have an ambition to hoard materials because of their fear of future. This is an attitude God doesn’t like and that doesn’t befit a believer’s trust in God.

Hypocrites have an extreme fear about their future and dread what will happen in the future. They also fear losing their wealth. Hypocrites stay with believers for their own self-interest and when they have no self-interest left, they leave. Hypocrites greedily accumulate wealth and property. Muslims always distribute their wealth to earn the good pleasure of God.

The fear of future can be defeated with faith and the system of guardianship described in the Qur’an.

Young women see marriage as a way out sometimes. It is a pity that due to a fear of the future, they consider marriage as an institution of financial guarantees and put up with the disrespectful attitudes of men.

It would not be compliant with the Qur’an for a person to be worried about the future. A person who worries about the future shows that he imagines that there is a force other than God forgetting that everything is under the command of God; and that would be idolatry. Idolatry is ascribing partners to God and is a grave sin.

Sentimentality and anger are beneath Muslims. That is because a Muslim always acts with God in mind. He always thinks rationally and equitably. He never forgets that God is the One Who creates everything, even those things that appear to be the most horrible incidents.

If you do not put your trust in God, God would not give you people that you can trust. He would make everyone of them a trouble for you. If you take on God, God would take on you. If you regard God as powerless - may God forbid - God would make you come across powerless people.

God is the Creator of even the maddest or the most abnormal acts. Individuals are not the perpetrators; no one can ever act outside destiny. That is why one needs to be moderate, poised and rational when evaluating incidents taking place.

Forgiveness is a characteristic God appreciates greatly. That is because revenge might give a lowly pleasure to one's soul, but forgiving is hard; I mean it [forgiveness] necessitates will-power and wisdom. That is because in forgiveness one does not achieve satisfaction, but revenge might bring satisfaction. That is why God takes forgiveness as a basis.
