Some claim there is a lot of time until the Mahdi's appearance, but they do not ever mention hadiths of the Prophet (pbuh) on lifespan of the world. Hadiths by Al-Suyuti state that the lifespan of the world is 7,000 years, and 5,600 of that has already passed. Thus, the Mahdi has already come this century. Those who deny the coming of the Mahdi should also deny that solar and lunar eclipses took place in 15-day intervals which is foretold in the hadith. They can't deny it as this event has already occurred. In a similar way they should also deny the war in Syria, the bloodshed in the Ka'aba [in 1979], the invasion of Iraq or the appearance of the two-horned comet all of which have taken place and they can't do so. Hundreds of signs have already taken place in the last 35 years as portents of the Mahdi's arrival. Those who oppose the coming of the Mahdi hide away these truths.
