The soul of passion appears when one goes through suffering in order to reach his love. Then the true depth of love comes about; then it becomes persuasive and satisfactory. That is what Almigty Allah wants.

When we say “love”, THE LOVE FINDS ITS VALUE IN RELATION TO THE ORDEALS ONE GOES THROUGH. For instance in the case of Layla and Majnun, the essential factor is the suffering they go through. If Layla and Majnun were in love in a palace, that would not be of any interest.

One does not enjoy a woman out of lust alone. You must enjoy her passion, her role as a manifestation of Allah, her affection and her compassion. You must delight in protecting and watching over her. You enjoy her goodness and beauty and happiness. You delight in her loyalty and, above all, her religious devotion.

A person is passionately devoted to someone he loves. He has compassion and wants to protect and watch over them all throughout his life. Most important of all, he wants to be together with them in the hereafter. That love is love for Allah.

We, on the other hand, say, “We love Allah most”. ALL LOVE BELONGS TO ALLAH, for Allah creates whatever we see. Besides, it is Allah Who makes us love, He inspires some kind of attraction between the two parties, which is very beautiful. A great blessing, masha’Allah. That is why it is very important to devote one’s whole love to Allah.

People are inclined to possessions and a believer gives that possession he loves to Allah. He gives. The soul is Allah’s, and a person gives that soul to Allah, grants him back to Allah. This comes to mean the expression of Allah.

ALLAH MAKES HIM THE MAHDI ONLY BECAUSE HE TOLERATES SUFFERING AND TROUBLE, AND BECAUSE OF HIS SINCERE LOVE OF ALLAH. In a time span of ten thousand, twenty thousand years, Allah grants that blessing, the blessing of being the Mahdi, only to him. Only because of his endurance to that hardship and trouble.

If a person goes through the suffering of Hazrat Mahdi (as) only for a day, a person who does not act in compliance with the Qur’an, may Allah forbid, may deny Allah. Only one day. While it stirs up one’s love for Allah, it may make a person with weak faith lose his belief. That is the secret of the test.

If you say you are in love with Allah, how will you show that love? The struggle you make against hardship, advocating the Beloved One under the hardest of circumstances and siding with Him. Then your faith, love and compassion becomes evident. Otherwise it is not recognized.

Allah does not love insincere love. Allah loves the genuine lover. The one who really loves Him.

ALLAH WANTS TO BE LOVED, BUT HE WANTS TO BE LOVED PROPERLY. Normally even a human being feels offended when he is normally loved. How does one want to be loved? He demands deep love, very intense love.

Why would Allah put an end to the love of a person who is in love? Who would want the love to be stopped? Allah, in no way, wants that. That is why ALLAH WANTS TO BE LOVED FOR ALL ETERNITY. BUT WITH LOVE, NOT WITH SOME SUPERFICIAL LOVE, NOT WITH AN AVERAGE LOVE.

The one who is beautiful takes pleasure from the appreciation of that beauty. This is an inspiration of Allah to us. ALLAH ALSO LIKES TO BE APPRECIATED. ALLAH LIKES US TO BE IN LOVE WITH HIM. ALLAH LIKES TO BE LOVED WITH PASSION.

ALTHOUGH ALLAH DESERVES AN INFINITE LOVE, PEOPLE DON’T GIVE HIM ENOUGH LOVE. THEY DON’T APPRECIATE HIM VERY MUCH. That is why, Allah says, “They do not measure Allah with His true measure.” THE FACT IS, HOWEVER, ALLAH MUST BE LOVED WITH ZEAL. ALL THESE BEAUTIES BELONG TO HIM. All this passion must be diverted to Him. Almighty Allah deserves it.

Do you know how strong the passion in the Heaven is? It is such a profound passion that it can move mountains. Passion felt in the Heaven is a feeling that has never been seen before, insha'Allah. I mean it is so perfect that it can melt one's heart.

Passion cannot be imitated, Allah creates passion. Those who submit themselves to Allah feels passion. In real passion is presented to the other side for the good pleasure of Allah.

One looks at how the other serves Allah as is due, how he serves Islam as is due with love, compassion and intelligence, how he devotes himself to Allah, how clever he is, how wise he acts. If one sees that, passion will be formed as well.

Allah is the One Who creates passion. No matter how much one tries to imitate passion, one can only do the imitated gaze seen in the movies and that would be a fake one and it would be very repulsive.

For passion to be real, one should submit to Allah completely. Even if one says that it can be done anyway, that is not the case. It would not be passion. Allah creates passion; passion is felt by those who submit to Allah completely. That is a blessing, a beauty bestowed upon them by Allah. I mean that is not something that can be attained with money, means and fame.

In real passion, one presents his/her love to the other not for his/her physical attributes but for the good pleasure of Allah. That is because beauty will be gone in a short period of time. Passion felt for the good pleasure of Allah is very beautiful.

That is the deep aspect of love, of passion; being forgiving, compassionate, protective, thinking deep, seeing beauties in detail, seing wisdom in detail and patience. Patience is very important.

Many people in this world stare absently. Passion is very difficult. It can only be formed in very wise people.

Allah does not want a love that is devoid of quality. The entire current system is established upon this poor-quality love right now.

Allah wants plentiful beauty. Where is sacrifice? Where is loyalty? In the absence of these, the value of love diminishes. That is why Almighty Allah postpones the reign of Islam until the last stage.

Some wear burqa, some wear scarves, some don’t, and some go to beach. Everyone is being put to the test individually. We must respect everyone, and consider everyone as our Muslim brothers.
