There is defeat when there is no love. There is immorality when there is no love, there is death. Lovelessness brings about death, pain, suffering; it brings about exiguousness, inauspiciousness and nothing else.

There is no weariness in the language of love. There has to be determination in peace, in love. For instance, one talks about love for two years and then gets tired of doing so in the third year and gives up. He talks about peace for five years and then cannot keep on doing so in the sixth year: That is not acceptable. One has to advocate peace and love until the end of his life. That is a religious obligation.

We do not believe that anything can ever be solved with weapons, through bloodshed and weapons. We are against bloodshed, weapons, pain and suffering. We believe that humanity will weather the storms with love, with peace, brotherhood, with faith and with the Qur'an.

God takes away love from the hearts of those who ascribe partners to Him. Their loved ones run away from them and they chase after them; however had they have given their love and their appreciation for beauty directly to God, had they prayed to God, God would grant them those blessings.

If you feel love, first of all, love God and love those God loves and let that love be reflected in your life. It is not acceptable to say "I do love" without doing anything. You should carry the signs of a fervent faith. Then there would be no need for you to look for Zuleyha. God would send Zuleyha by your side.

Those looking for atrocities are worthy of atrocities. If you encourage persecution, if you encourage scourges and bloodshed, those scourges suffocate you. That bloodshed drowns you. If you had approached them with love, they would have come to you with love. You've asked for blood and are faced with blood.

People are prone to love. If you show the least bit of love they would instantly run towards that side. If you approach them with brotherhood, if you call them to peace and friendship they would instantly accept that call. They feel down when both sides refuse to accept because of pride. However if one side were to say it loud they would all accept it. But you would have to be a little bit insistent.

If you become fixated on the love of a person, it would be idolatry. You should love with the love of God. Even the songs are about separation. Why don’t you love as the manifestation of God? If you love as the manifestation of God, you would not feel the need for such songs. You would not feel all that pain.

Ultimately man is a weak creature. He dies and is buried in a grave. When he loses a loved one, he loses himself, saying, “I am dying, I am burning inside out, I am all done!” What would you say to that beloved one in the grave? You would flee in fear when you see that body in the grave. Well then, Who is the One to be loved? God is. Who is the One Who shows you that image? God.

Love provides beauty in every aspect. For instance, if a song is sung with love, if it is played with love, it gives an insatiable pleasure. I mean when you do something with love, it yields perfect results. If one talks with love, it can be listened to with an amazing joy. If one looks at another with love, it gives an amazing joy. Even when you show love to a flower, that flower becomes so beautiful and so sweet.

Love is very important. Suffering through ordeals is very important. Wherever there is a person in need, wherever there is a suffering person, if he is an artist, he would become a genuine artist. A person who hasn’t suffered any pain would instantly be felt. He would instantly be known.

This world would never be without pain or suffering. Pain is in the origin of love. Life has no meaning without love anyway. There has to be pain, people have to go through ordeals.

Did the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) have tanks and cannonballs? No, he didn’t. Did he have thousands of students? No, he didn’t. Did he have money? No, he didn’t. What did he have? He had sincerity. He was the Mahdi of his time. God made him victorious. What condition does Almighty God has for that? One should be able to endure hardships, one should be patient in the face of hardships and sufferings. Or else no result can be attained if one tries to present himself as if he is facing hardships yet not really facing any hardships.

The Prophet Joseph (pbuh) is an honest person through and through. He did not act with his instincts but with his good conscience. Where did his good conscience take him? To prison. He placed his trust in God and what happened eventually? Almighty God made him the Sultan of Egypt. He ate the most beautiful food, wore the most beautiful clothes and is given the most beautiful ranks in Heaven.

The most significant characteristic of Jesus Christ is his sharp-eyed façade. His eyes are like blades, looking very clever. He has grey eyes, not green, they are grey. His eye color takes after the Prophet Joseph.

Since the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) has been subjected to deceits, it is apparent that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will be subjected to them as well. Actually Surat Yusuf consists of verses that symbolically explain the attacks that Mahdi (pbuh) will be subjected to.

The Prophet Joseph (pbuh) went through many ordeals, sufferings and trainings; with profound faith Allah gave his face radiance and grandeur. Allah gave an extraordinary charisma to him.

The more our Prophet (pbuh) suffered ordeals, the more beautiful he became. Suffering turned the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) into the most beautiful person in the world; he led a life full of anguish yet he was exceptionally beautiful. The Prophet Moses (pbuh) suffered throughout his life but he was incredibly handsome, the most handsome man of his tribe.

The Prophet Solomon (pbuh) did not go after blessings, he ran away from them and they followed him. The Prophet Joseph (pbuh) ran away from blessings and blessings followed him. I have always run away from blessings all my life. God always sent blessings to my side. Alhamdulillah.

There is no such thing as a "moderate Muslim." Muslims are those who abide by the Qur'an. Those who abide by the Qur'an are Muslims, if they don't, they don't. There are two different types of Muslims; those who abide by the Qur'an and those who don't. There is no such thing as a moderate Muslim.

We are against weapons, we are against bloodshed. We are against bullets. We do not want the smell of blood, the smell of gunpowder. We want everywhere to smell like roses.

They would not be able to cope with ISIS until the appearance of the Mahdi (pbuh). ISIS would never strike Turkey. There is no such knowledge in the hadiths. 1,400 years ago our Prophet (saas) foretold in great details that such an organization will appear in the End Times.

I do not accept changing an opinion by using force. I believe that the struggle against the PKK should always be intellectual. For instance, we are talking here; that is an intellectual struggle.

We are against all movements that might attempt to overwhelm ISIS with blood; we would only wage a struggle intellectually with opinion. We would never open our airbases to killer planes. We would never open our airbases to planes that come to commit murder. They should forget about that.

We proved that Ocalan and the PKK is Godless and Bookless with documents and all the region has become aware of this fact. They used to present themselves as folk heroes but then our Southeastern lions, our Kurdish brothers, hated those scum. And now they are all alone. They are cursed and humiliated everywhere. ISIS wiped them out. That is a God-sent scourge upon them.
