Those who mock the ones preaching do so because they are fiercely effected, or else why would they bother to do so? They would have never bothered if they were not effected, they would have gone about their own business. They mock merely to calm themselves: That is because their good conscience starts disturbing them. That is a precaution taken by unbelievers against that disturbance.

They say, "We are preaching Islam, but they mock us." Who is the One that makes them mock? God is the One Who does that. He creates it at the same time with the preaching. It is a hidden honor created by God to increase the worth of preaching, of that act of worship. It is against unbelief, it is in favor of Muslims. It is an honor for Muslims and a scourge on disbelief. When you do not take that mocking seriously, your reward would increase many fold.

Politics is very cruel in itself. It is not easy. That is why what those who strive for spreading Islam should be doing is to explain the facts leading to faith, explaining the miracles of the Qur'an, reinforcing their own faith and fervor. Otherwise they cannot cope with such things.

One acts impertinently against our Prophet (saas) and God heaps troubles upon him. He struggles against religion and God heaps troubles upon him. He strives against Islam and God heaps troubles upon him. He struggles against the champion of Islam, against a person serving God and God heaps troubles upon him. Observe what happens to such people and you will see: You will see that whoever struggles against the saints of God, against those who struggle in the Path of God, is plagued by God.

Being slack in talking about God is an unlawful act. This is an affliction upon the Muslim world. They do not feel the need to preach religion. They say, "There is the Religious Affairs Directorate and they are doing this anyway. Why should we preach religion?" The fact is, however, preaching religion is a religious duty upon all Muslims.

What we see from the verses is that there is a possibility even for Pharaoh to believe if he is preached to. Then communists, PKK militants, atheists, everyone should be told about religion. How? With a lenient, kind and respectful manner.

It is not acceptable to fire a bullet onto Muslims; that would bring about direness, it would bring about troubles. It is a grave decadence. The reward of it is an endless life in Hell. You preach to a Muslim, you explain to Muslims what the true path is with verses, with hadiths and with the Qur'an. Are you a murderer? What does air bombardment mean? You put them on trial and put them in jail if they have committed an offense.

We need to talk about a lucid world with an honest, sincere, clear and lucid mind. When everything is explained with the Qur'an, with the verses, a relief and ease is formed in the hearts of people. Or else, if you use the approach of the people devoted to this world towards them, even though they already know that this world will die eventually, it will be like you are literally blown away. Your being blown away would scare them. They would feel relieved only if they see that you are very well aware of the existence of God.

What is meant by jihad in the verses of the Qur'an is struggling; an intellectual struggle, an effort, all sorts of activities. People tend to take it as if it means "hanging people and chopping them up." The fact is however, jihad is the name of the effort put on the path of God.

Radicals assume that talking in an all-knowing manner would disseminate Islam. Islam would never be disseminated in this manner. People would like to see your sincere love. They would want to see your clean-cut clothes, your cleanliness, your liveliness, your effort to beautify life. These things show Islam applied in practice. When they see them, they embrace Islam as you tell them.

They imagine that preaching religion means talking and writing a lot. Instead of doing that, show your love for 15 minutes and it would be 15 million times more effective.

Some people communicate religion but they say, "I am communicating religion yet they are making fun of me." What kind of a preacher are you? You do not know the first thing about the Qur'an? You hit your feet on the floor and it makes a sound right? When you communicate, they would of course make fun of you; this is the law, this is the law of God. If you are preaching religion they will of course make fun of you. Why are you surprised about it?

When they are made fun of during their preaching they say, "I am demoralized." They have no idea about destiny, they have no idea about the Qur'an. Thank God for seeing such a miracle. Be amazed; your good deeds are increasing while their sins are increasing. What is your goal? Is it not to attain good deeds? You then say that you are sad. Why should one be sad because his good deeds have increased?

The existence of atheists, all their writings, their speeches mocking religion are there to increase the good deeds Muslims attain. As one continues in his faith despite all these, that makes him more valuable.

Religion and sacred values can never be a matter of mockery. People can make jokes on ordinary daily issues, but we do not want anyone making jokes about religion. I mean making jokes in matters that would offend 90 percent of the country is not acceptable.

Making jokes and speaking in a mocking tone is not acceptable while talking about God and religion. Religion cannot be made a topic of entertainment.

Mockery shows the lack of character and immorality of the irreligious. This is an honor and beauty for believers.

Unbelievers only imagine that they can ridicule Muslims. In fact, their pathetic attempts only heighten the ranks of Muslims in Heaven.

All Mahdis have been mocked, all prophets have been mocked. But in the verse, Allah says; ".. what they used to mock at will engulf them." In the end they are defeated. This is all because of their idiocy and stupidity. Mocking Prophets, mocking the Mahdis is a sign of idiocy. It is one of the 101 signs. The idiots mock Prophets. And there are also many other signs of idiocy.

Most of the time people’s relationships are based on the sole purpose of irritating each other. They mock, irritate and upset each other. But they all hurt in the end.

How could a grim, atrocious attack towards people's religion, faith and sacred values be named as art? Can performing art be a way for disturbing people, attempting to upset and irritate them, making them uneasy? That is a deficiency in decorum, that is a lack of culture and manners. It cannot be art.

For you to believe in love in Heaven you need to show self-sacrifice, bravery, patience, cleanliness and piety. A Muslim feels sure of himself because he shows that morality; he feels sure of being loved. Those who love him, love him in that respect anyway.

There is no patience in Heaven, there is no courage, there is no reason to be courageous. You cannot be patient, courageous, brave. There is nothing to resign one's self to. Purity, self-sacrifice, none of those exist in Heaven. It is the abode of fun. Of course there is being thankful and praising, there is seeing the Manifestations of God and loving.

The trial of Muslims is really difficult. I mean an easy trial would be very humiliating for Muslims. That means there is really a painful situation for that person, that means there is something weird. The tougher one's trial, the better it is for him.

"God loves the steadfast." That is how we recognize love. If one cannot be steadfast, that means he does not have love. For instance, one might have a loved one but it is important for him to preserve that love; I mean love cannot be for only two days. Some are like this, they love only for a day. They have love for a night. They have a fancy to be blunt. But a Muslim wants love for a lifetime and for all eternity.
