Some people go by their logic instead of their good conscience. They say, 'I listen to the voice of my logic.' My brother, you would grovel if you do that. Logic might appear as if it will save people in the first sight. One might think that following logic will always give way to things that will be in his favor, that will always be at their sweet will, and that will serve their interests. Actually logic would constantly drag people into troubles.

Those who only use their logic would always grovel. But in the beginning, they appear as if they will be wining. Those who go by their conscience might appear to be losing in the beginning, but they will always win eventually.

You are an ordinary piteous servant of God. Why do you put on airs? Where you go does not honor you. What is there in those places you go? Cement, iron, bricks, stone, wood, asphalt and there are also trees. Why would you be honored because of that?

Humans have nothing to be arrogant about. You are a being, made up of flesh and bones and blood, you have natural needs, why is it that you put on airs? You are going to die eventually, why are you putting on an act? And life ends in a very short while. Every dead body bloats and explodes inside the grave. There is nothing for you to put on airs about; humans are piteous beings.

Going by one's good conscience is difficult, but the fruit of it is beautiful. Logic, on the other hand, is easy to follow but its fruit is bitter.

The first affliction that comes upon a person when he does not act by his good conscience is the loss of his mind. Such a person would lose his mind. Would he be aware of his situation? No, he won't be aware: That is because he would be left to his intelligence alone, so he cannot understand his situation. His mind would be lost and he would be left to his intelligence alone. God generally does not take away one's intelligence, but He takes away his mind. Except for some rare occasions, God does not take away one's intelligence. However when God takes away one's mind, his intelligence would no longer have any use for him. His intelligence would only get him into troubles from then on. Intelligence would make him grovel.

Watch the world carefully; you will see that 99% of the world acts by their logic. And all of them suffer. Show me one man who acts with his logic and who does not suffer in misery. They are all groveling. They live in incomprehensible pain. Sincere people who act with their good conscience on the other hand live a very beautiful life. Well, yes they do suffer through ordeals and face difficulties as well, but eventually God gives them relief.

The Prophet Joseph (pbuh) is an honest person through and through. He did not act with his instincts but with his good conscience. Where did his good conscience take him? To prison. He placed his trust in God and what happened eventually? Almighty God made him the Sultan of Egypt. He ate the most beautiful food, wore the most beautiful clothes and is given the most beautiful ranks in Heaven.

It might appear as if one would lose a lot when he goes by his good conscience. Actually, that would be the right form of behavior. For instance, prophets act in line with their good conscience and go to war, suffer through ordeals and pains. But eventually they become the best ones in the world.

It might appear as if a person loses a lot while acting in all sincerity; the fact is, however, that person gains a lot in secret. You look at that person and see that he gets into trouble and loses his goods, his means. However God eventually gives him abundance. In the meantime, the other one might think that he will attain goods and means by crushing his good conscience but the world escapes from him while he pursues worldly goals. That person would suffer enormously. That is a devastating groveling, a devastating chase.

One might be beautiful but arrogant and that beauty would not have any meaning. Beauty can also be an incitement. One might be young and beautiful but become mad with arrogance and vanity. You might see someone as ugly but that person could love madly and passionately. That person could then present a thousand times more beauty than those you call beautiful.

You would appear as a mad person when you boast, when you become haughty. That would be very repellent and you wouldn't be loved. When you boast, when you act haughtily you make yourself unlovable. Why do you boast? Why do you act haughtily? You do so, to make people love you, right? Actually it has the exact opposite effect and you lose all the love you have.

When one is drowned in feelings of superiority, God prevents him from drawing closer to religion and takes away his mind.

There is no reasonable aspect of the feeling of superiority. Humans are really wretched beings that are bound to sleep, having difficulty remaining afoot and die in a short while. It is a miracle that such a wretched being could have such an inconceivable feeling of superiority.

If one displays egocentricity, people become really vicious against him. That is why modesty is like an armor. Egocentricity on the other hand is a disease that increases aggression and attracts troubles.

If a person is very egocentric, if he likes himself a lot, if he has an extreme air of haughtiness, all his body becomes egocentric. The whole body becomes his ego. His whole body becomes sick. I mean he becomes insane. That is what happened to Pharaoh, to Nimrod. They lost their sanity. When that is the case, satan settles in their body. They become unable to act rationally and in a balanced manner. They lose the ability to be reasonable.

Feeling a sense of [unjustified] superiority causes snobbery and leads to impertinence. The tragic thing is that they become miserably senseless. For instance, they start lying swiftly and foolishly. They start talking irrationally, saying things that even the most foolish people wouldn't say. Such people have an astounding anarchy in their souls, an insane anarchy and they become prone to unbelief.

Our Prophet (pbuh) says in the hadith, "Most of the hypocrites in my community are from among well-educated people." Knowledge leads them astray and into a desire to be apart from Muslims. Feeling a sense of superiority, hypocrites seek to abandon Muslims, thinking, "I am wiser and smarter."

In the era of Our Prophet (pbuh), the then- hypocrites pretended to be wiser than Our Prophet; as they believed themselves to be supposedly wiser, they talked in a patronizing manner. Hypocrites are insolent and disrespectful.

After a short while, Azerbaijan will open their doors, Armenia will open their doors, the Turkic states will open their doors. And then Iraq, Syria, Jordan, and moreover Israel. By means of Hazrat Mahdi we will live in love and brotherhood. But how long would that last? Seven to nine years and that is it. Later on an incomprehensible corruption will start, a moral corruption, up until Hijri 1545. That news will find them on a morning, or noon or night of 1545. They should write this on a stone. That stone will be torn into pieces on that day and the Last Day will come.

The first succesful implementation of Islamic Union is in Turkey; Kurdish, Laz, Circassian and all other ethnic groups have become brothers within that beautiful spirit of Islamic Unity. Had there been racism among them, there would be a Turkish state in the Middle Anatolia, a Kurdish state in the Southeast, a Laz state in the Black Sea region, another state on the Aegean shores and we would all be torn to pieces. These states would be torn to pieces among themselves as well. We are enjoying this unity and integrity because the morality of Islamic Unity is being practiced.

Our police officers are the most merciful ones in the world. Our soldiers are the most compassionate, best mannered, noblest soldiers in the world. They are young, brave, beautiful mannered Anatolians.

What does the PKK mean by negotiations? It is like the Treaty of Sevres. What did the men say in the Treaty of Sevres? 'Come sit at the table' and they broke Turkey into pieces. This is the same. That table is the table of the Treaty of Sevres. It is a far worse table.

Art ennobles the human soul, it beautifies people and is the urgent nutrient of human soul. Europe has realized this and put that into practice very early on. They have attained very nice results in the end. Radicals, on the other hand, have dealt one of the biggest blows by estranging the Islamic world from the arts.

All the official institutions in the US have always been in the hands of Freemasons. George Washington, for instance is a grand Master. All of the presidents of the US until today were Freemasons without exception.
